"To many stairs for seniors"

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. "Spent 4 days. Beautiful location on a beach, very quiet, kayaking every day. Nesting eagles a ross the way. Host were exceptionally hospitable- went with us fown the street to get fresh lobsters off the boat"

"I can’t say enough about this property and the owners. Hugh was most accommodating and the property is very well appointed and very comfortable. If you want a quiet relaxing place to get away. This is it! "

"Paul and Heidi are fantastic hosts. We were greeted by 2 friendly dogs and Paul offered us delicious Lobster bisque and freshly cooked lobsters upon revival. The kitchen is well equipped with everything thing you need. The view is fantastic. This is the perfect place to relax and recharge your mind and body. If you like relaxing vacations with great views and sunsets I cannot recommend Paul’s place enough. "

"Beautiful house with an outstanding view. Watched the lobster boats and the constant changing of the ocean. Private and very peacefule."

"Excellent location. The property manager is very professional and so easy to communicate with! We love this property and hope to return again someday!"

"Home wad built in 1947 and is dated, original kitchen and and home had a musty smell. No throw pillows or blankets for sofas, no wine or beer glasses, no coffee table erc. Electrial not up to date, had to turn everything of when not home because it was considered a fire hazard. For the price expected more from VRVO."

"Beautiful house, suitable for multi-generational families lovely views and beautiful sunsets. Beach access a bit challenging. Deck large with comfortable chairs. Friendly kitchen and large dining area great for family togetherness. "

"The house was amazing! Very modern and state of the art but extremely comfortable. Immaculately clean. The water views and sunsets were incredible. Hosts were very attentive to questions. The only downside, there were six adults and the hot water didn’t last beyond two showers."
