If you are ready to enjoy the scents of the Mediterranean climate and sea surrounded by a unique nature and gorgeous mountain landscape, our ISOLATED VILLA WITH HEATED POOL is a perfect esacape for you, your friends and family. Our hidden, cosy house is a perfect escape from crowds and busy city life and we'd like to share this little piece of heaven with you, whether you want to spend a lazy day by the pool, explore places, go hiking, to the beach down the hill and try various sea activities and food.

The house has all facilities to enjoy your deserved vacation at our home, by the pool and just relaxing. It is surrounded by gardens, olives, pine wood.
The whole area is air-conditioned and continuing outside from the ground level, there is a smart pool and lounge area with comfortable garden egg-shaped chairs, pool lounge chairs, deck chairs and outdoor fireplace/barbecue.

Baby bed is available upon request and is free of charge.

If you feel like stretching, check what we have in the gardens behind the house or wake an explorer inside of you and take a hike to the old village Žlib (even more up in the hills) and you will have the whole area on your palm. The area is perfect for mountain biking and there are two Hiking trails just nearby. We recommend to get all information on the official website of the Nature Park Biokovo.

Makarska riviera is not only the place to bu during summer, but also during spring and autumn. The area is popular among bike lovers, nature lovers since it is perfect for trekking, hiking, climbing if you have proper equipment and climbing shoes. At this location you can experience the nature and the offer of the whole Dalmatia county.

The area of Veliko Brdo is more of a relaxing area with suburban/weekend villas, ideal for those who want to avoid summer fuss and crowd, but still spend their vacation nearby active summer city with a lot to offer.

The beach is about 1000 metres away and you can try various sea activities (jet ski, water-ski, parasailing, diving, windsurfing, kayaking) or just sit and relax in one of lounge/beach bars.

The town centre with its restaurants and shops is approximately 2000 metres away. We would be more than happy to give you some tips when it comes to choosing a restaurant, organising field trips and activities, visiting islands or discovering hidden gems of Makarska Riviera.

One of the closest restaurants in the area (about 200 m away) offers a great choice of fish and meat. From there you can enjoy beautiful view on the whole Makarska and islands, while having a nice dinner. In the village, next to the church, you can find local restaurant Veliko Brdo, traditional tavern, where you can try traditional Dalmatian recepies (we recommend pasticada if you like meat in sauce with homemade macaroni).

This was a highlight on our month long European trip. Beautifully appointed, spacious, amazing outside spaces including a wonderful pool we loved swimming in daily. It is up a hill which we had some trouble finding ONLY because our GPS and phones failed the day we arrived. Amazingly, the family who built it came down to town and led us back to the house which was beyond kind. They are a warm, accommodating family and they built this for themselves so it is a super special home. We loved the nearby local restaurants for dinner and highly recommend staying here. You will enjoy the peace and quiet, drop dead water views, as well as relaxing in the home.

Excellent villa

We had a fantastic time staying in this excellent villa. Spotlessly clean. Good location outside of the main town. Quiet, but within easy walking distance of 2 good restaurants. Stunning view from the villa. Lovely pool- more of a plunge pool, but big enough for the kids to cool off! Excellent communication with the host Marijana. Both Marijana and her brother could not have been more helpful for us. Would thoroughly recommend the villa and Croatia.

Comfortable villa with stunning views

Very clean and well equipped large villa, with fantastic views. The owners were helpful, and replied to any questions quickly. The villa was ideal for relaxing in, with sunny spots and shady areas for some relief! Kitchens were very well equipped so cooking on nights in was easy, bedrooms were comfortable and living areas were big enough to have plenty of space. Air conditioning was in the living areas, but kept the whole property sufficiently cool at night. It is very peaceful, but not far by car to shops, restaurants, bars etc. It was quite a walk into town and the beach, but there were car parks at the bottom of the hill to save the long walk back up! The local restaurant was well worth a visit, both for the view and the food. It was a great base for a beach holiday, although if you walk slightly away from the main beach you can find quieter areas as the main town beach was very crowded. You can also explore the islands on one of the many boat trips from the harbour, We enjoyed simply meandering along the coast line, either in the car and finding little villages, or on foot along the coastal footpaths. Split, Trogir and Omis were good for days out. Fantastic property in a lovely area.

Fantastisch!

Wie verbrachten 2 Wochen in diesem gemütlichen Haus und haben es genossen! Es ist super ausgestattet, sauber und geschmackvoll möbliert. Marjana und ihre Familie waren unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben selten solch gastfreundliche Gastgeber erlebt. Danke dafür! Also wer etwas Ruhe abseits der Touristenmassen sucht, ist in diesem Haus genau richtig. Trotz ruhiger Lage ist man in 5 Fahrminuten am Strand und in Makarska. Die Küste der Makarska Riviera ist spektakulär. Trotz vielen Touristen hat es ihre Authentizität nicht verloren. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Un séjour magnifique!

La maison correspond en tout point à sa présentation! Elle est chaleuresement décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'une propreté irréprochable! Parfaitement située au-dessus de Makarska, dans un lieu calme avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, cette demeure dispose de tout ce que l'on peut rêver pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Les propriétaires sont disponibles, accueillants et bienveillants! Une maison que je ne peux que conseiller à tous futurs hôtes!

What a treasure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this incredibly well presented and spotlessly clean house. We loved being a 5 minute drive up the mountain to have our own space especially as we were visiting in peak tourist time. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our 5 day stay enormously. It is well located and very easy to drive to other beaches and towns along the Croatian Riviera. Both Marijana and her son are truly charming and helpful and we fully recommend this property.
