"we stayed here on new years eve from 31st Dec - 2nd Jan. during our stay there was an issue on the night of 31st Dec whereby the power to the property completely tripped out and would not come back on.we rang the emergency number and the caller advised we should check the fuse box and trip switches, which i did, this would not work. he also advised to turn large electrical items off which i did but again the power would not come back on.The emergency contact was not in a position to come to the...

"On your advetisement you advertised the house as having two bathrooms. It doesnt. We particularly chose this accommadation partly to the fact we thought it had two bathrooms ie 1+ Disappointing."

"Small but almost everything there. A few issues - a broken toilet seat which would have been obvious to the cleaner before we came, so not sure how long it's been broken, a very wobbly broken tap in the bathroom too. No bin bags in the bins, and the bathroom bin had no insert so the rubbish would have just gone on the floor, so again cleaner issues presumably. "Satellite tv and wi fi not working when we arrived. Took 4 days to fix so only available for 3 days of our stay. Approach road into property needs some tidying up of trees and shrubbery to improve access"

"Well appointed property, comfy with good facilities. The chip shop is a must and proximity to the beach is great. We really enjoyed the property and the town, thanks Tim, I suspect we'll be back."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was brightly clean with brand new appliances and a shiny bathroom. The beds were all very comfortable, and the lounge had good chairs and sofa. I would suggest a little motion-detector light at the bottom and top of the stairs for those late night trips down to the bathroom. It's also important to understand that Brits and Americans use the word "dryer" to mean different things. We had a great stay and would certainly use this property again."

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location next to a river.We were looking for something secluded away from the hustle and bustle so we could relax. Kingfisher retreat lived up to its name and we would happily stay here again."
