"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. Great property for snowshoeing...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Catch More Resort. Very peaceful setting, loved being able to sit and look at the lake and listen to the birds. Liked the availability of the kayaks, canoes and swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that we had our own fire pit, the wifi was great and there was lots of parking. Cottages are a little close together, but it wasn't an issue. Be prepared to bring your own Roku or laptop to connect to the TV. The only complaint is that the...

"Advantages and Disadvantages of Staying at This Cottage: Advantages: - Beautiful scenery - Short distance to the grocery store (small town) Disadvantages: - The cottage is rural and not connected to the municipal water supply. The smell of the water was unbearable for us. - Although the cottage appeared to have been cleaned, the cleaning was superficial. We had to dust and clean thoroughly to use the furniture and beds comfortably. - There is no air conditioning, and only a fan is available to...

"A beautiful place with all the amenities you could need! Very good communication with our lovely host!"

"Host was very responsive and made sure there was some nice little touches to make our stay enjoyable (for example, leaving a s’mores kit for us to use). Stayed for a long weekend which was ample time to enjoy the serene surroundings."

"The house was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The main problem for us was that there was no Wi-Fi. This surprised us. There was a smart TV, but we could not stream anything because there was no Wi-Fi. Also, the cellular signal was very weak (we use Koodo/Telus). My husband could not complete some work he wanted to do because of the lack of Wi-Fi. The very weak cellular signal meant he could not hotspot off his phone either. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the fire pit."

"My family stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful and the property is nice, since it was still chilly we enjoyed watching the birds on the water from inside. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was down almost our whole visit which apparently was out of the owners control. My only other complaints would be that the main floor was chilly as there is only 2 vents in the main area. The property manager was under the impression that there was electric baseboard heaters...

The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing."
