"We arrived and found that the restaurant and bar were going to be closed for the duration of our stay. This is a remote area, so we had to drive to locate any food or drink. We had to change rooms several times, as we wanted a room on the lakeside and had to upgrade to a handicap room, due to the toilets being so low to the ground in the regular rooms. I was not offered any solution or refund of portion of money. The breakfast was good though, and the cook actually was horrified when he heard the front desk employee screaming at me. "We arrived at 4pm and they gave away our room to someone else in error because they didn't bother to check the name. So we had to settle for a smaller room that was not as clean as expected for a newer hotel. Very disappointed. The best part of tge stay was their pancake machine ar breakfast. Even though I travel through the area often, I won't be going back. Definitely not up to Hilton hotel group standards."

"Holiday Lodge is in the midst of renovation with that being said it’s a beautiful property and what they’ve done so far is great. We had a great stay there. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Great room great staff great continental breakfast just very happy with your overall stay highly recommended you won’t be disappointed"

"The gentleman who waited on us to check in & out wasn’t friendly. He was difficult to hear because he spoke softly. He did not offer a receipt at check out. The Window blind in room was broken. When retracting, it appeared to be broken on the left side. There was no wall thermostat in the room - only holes where it should have been. A channel guide would be helpful for the tv."
