"This is a great house, with tons of space. Ample indoor dining and living space was augmented by a pleasant yard. Easy to find, within walking distance of a grocery and coffee stand, across from the famed Red Shoe, this was also a good homebase for visits to west coast beaches (and sunsets) the national park and other island attractions. Host is kind and friendly, as were the neighbors. All in all - a wonderful experience. I hope we can return some day."

"To start off with was not given the correct address of the property. Could use Villa # in front. Wi-Fi password was not correct. No ice. No screens on windows. No handrail on a dangerous staircase. No front door mat. All small fixes for sure. Otherwise we loved the place! Cozy spot! Had a lot of fun for sure. Thank you."

"We stayed just for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer to fully experience this incredible property! It was such a beautiful location with art pieces everywhere you looked. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The hot tub was a definite treat after a cool day hiking and the stars at night… wow! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area and would stay again when we come back! "

"We had an amazing stay at Barbara's place. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a larger group, with plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy meals together. The views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring all the beauty Cape Breton Island has to offer. Barbara was thoughtful and responsive, making sure everything was just right. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!"

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights. Cheaper than staying along the loop and right on the water. The beds were comfortable, has all convenient amenities and a cute market not too far away. Only negative was the swarm of lady bugs inside. We would tidy up then have another one come on the counter, land on a glass etc shortly after - looked like a hive hatched in a window. "This was a great home in the quaint community of Inverness. Minutes from Cabot Links and about 10 min from Cabot Cliffs, it provides excellent access to both premier courses. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance and Robins (coffee) is half a block away. This is a small home with bathroom on the main floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs. "This house sits in the middle of a hayfield, set 500’ or so back from the road. Very quiet, and a secure place to let the dogs play. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and well-equipped, including heat-pump a/c and an excellent washer/dryer in the basement. "Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. "Wonderful stay in a cottage. We were too couples and each had our bedrooms and bathroom. Amenities as described (loved having washer/dryer). Firepit was a great addition outside. We were able to go see Lobster boats coming in harbour and also drove around to see the sights.Highly recommended!"
