Looking for your North Shore getaway? This is the place for you! "The Lodge" is a newly renovated townhome located in a ski in-ski out resort just minutes from the chair lifts and gondola. Lutsen offers year round activities such as skiing or snowboarding in the winter, golfing, hiking or enjoying the Alpine slide in the spring and summer and exploring the beautiful fall colors of Northern Minnesota. We hope you have a great time!

The host contacted us, providing all the information needed in an accurate and timely manner. The fireplace was wonderful and easy to start with super dry wood. Gathering for games and meals proved easy with the nice big table. We appreciated the Brita water filter in the frig which made a marked difference in the water palatability. The 5 cup coffee maker was small for our group of six. The bathroom drains were slow and water pressure low downstairs. SOS pads or Barkeeper's Friend would have helped us clean and shine the stainless steel pans. Loved having a place on the trail and the outside closet to keep our skis. We would book again.

Host canceled day before arrival and offered full refund but couldn’t process refund. This lead to a lengthy phone call to vbro rep to get the refund processed. No assistance from host in finding alternative accommodations. Lost about 3 hours of prime snowboarding to make other arrangements and get refunded. Host later claimed problem with their property was resolved at last minute and tried to convince me to cancel my newly modified accommodations and stay at his place so he didn’t not have to refund me.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great communication from host. Nice location for ski in/out. Plenty of space for a family of 5. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies. Cozy fireplace with ample cut firewood just across the parking lot. Would stay again!

Working week

We were working on a project in the area and needed a place to sleep and eat. The grill and coffee pot were used each day but didn’t really use the other facilities offered. The beds were comfortable and that was important!

Spacious condo with ample room for all

Enjoyed our stay for a long ski weekend trip. Condo was big enough with plenty of beds. Basement two bedrooms were tight and cool at night but my kids did not seem to mind at all. Condo was well stocked and once we figured where to pick up the run outside the condo it cut down our walk. Only draw is having ti walk to the pool and hot-tub wasnt ideal for us but that comes with the larger space. All in all a nice stay.

We found this place to be perfect for our needs. Six adults had plenty of room and comforts. The kitchen had every thing we needed to make simple meals, mostly breakfasts. The heating and cooling worked as expected and the beds were comfortable. We would rent this lodge again.

Family celebration on North Shore

Plenty of room for five of us, great to have kitchen table to seat six. Lots of utensils, cookie sheet probably needs to be replaced, has seen better days. Pitcher in refrig for filtered water was nice. Took a bit to figure out oven which has seen a lot of use and wear. Bathrooms clean. Just be sure to bring soap or body wash. Everything else provided. Kitchen garbage can and on floor around can needs cleaning. Enjoyed fire pit. Area pretty and very pleasant. Didn’t realize til got there this is a property run by management company, not directly with owners.

Home for waterfall touring

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our 2 teen family, great gathering space on the main floor to eat and play card games, and enough space so everyone could get away for a bit too! It was clean, comfy, and the host communication was excellent. Thank you for helping to make this a great little family getaway!
