Welcome to The Chesapeake Summer House - a newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath Lake House with access to the Chesapeake Bay via kayak or paddle board from your private pier.

Enjoy everything Southern Maryland has to offer within a 10 minute drive - Calvert Cliffs, Flag Ponds, Solomons Island - hiking, fishing, boating and beaches.

Located just 90 minutes outside DC, this will become your new go-to retreat from the hustle.

Relax and make memories on the water with your family and friends!

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with modern amenities, look no further!

The Lake House is updated and equipped with everything you will need for your getaway - 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms with shower/tub combos and one half bath.

Enjoy cooking meals in the full kitchen with everything you will need to prepare and share meals at home. The kitchen is stocked with everything from plates and glasses to cookware, serving dishes, utensils, toaster, blender. Nothing has been overlooked!

The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker that will make individual cups of coffee or up to a 12 cup pot of coffee for a crowd! We include a starter supply of K-cups, sugar packets and creamers as well as coffee filters for making a pot of coffee. You will need to supply ground coffee and any additional coffee/sugar/creamer you will need beyond what is provided.

Our bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels and wash cloths as well as a starter supply of toilet paper - 2 rolls per bathroom.

The living room has a 46 inch Smart TV - bring your own password to login to your Netflix, Prime, Hulu accounts. There is no cable TV. You will need to login into your personal streaming accounts.

The kids will LOVE the retro arcade! And the adults will be transported back in time while playing the games. The arcade has Terminator II, Mars Attacks Pinball, Ms. Pacman cocktail game table, and Wheel of Fortune for endless fun in the evenings or rainy days.

Take the kayaks out on the lake (April - October) or bring your pole and go fishing!

Grill outside on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoy dinner under the stars on the picnic table. Finish the day with a fire in the Fire pit or a soak in the Hot Tub. It doesn't get any better!

Julie was easy to communicate with. The house was decorated so lovely, it didn’t feel like a rental property. The kitchen was very well stocked. We will definitely be back but for a long time next time!

If you love nature but not roughing it..

This is a gorgeous property. The house is incredible and well appointed. Elegant and incredibly well decorated. Hot tub, fire pits surrounded by nature. Details are so well thought out. Just an amazing experience.

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. Every part of the description was accurate and the pictures are spot on. Every room was so well decorated and the home had a nice, cozy feel. Beds were so comfortable and the house was stocked with everything needed. Beautiful Home on the Pond

Immaculate home which is captured in the pictures. The basement game room was a highlight for both adults and grandchildren. The back deck is a wonderful spot to relax along with the fire pit, which is all lit with hanging lights! Great dock and fun time on the water paddling boarding and kayaking with the provided equipment! Definitely will return if available!!

A Perfect Family Getaway: Luxury, Fun, and Relaxation

Our recent stay was absolutely perfect! The house is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere the moment you step inside. Situated right on the water, the views are stunning and add an extra layer of tranquility to the experience. The kids had a blast with the endless entertainment options available. Between the arcade games, multiple TVs, and the luxurious hot tub, they were fully occupied and enjoying every moment. The outdoor activities were a big hit as well – fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and paddle boarding kept them thrilled and active throughout our stay. For the parents, this meant we could truly relax and unwind. Whether it was lounging on the deck with a good book or soaking in the hot tub under the stars, we felt completely rejuvenated by the end of our stay. The convenience of having a grocery store nearby was a huge plus. Anything we needed was just a quick trip away, making it easy to keep everyone happy and well-fed. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and fun for the whole family. Thank you so much to Julie for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful Property

We were so pleased with every aspect of the stay. The house is new, upgraded, and super spacious. The view is absolutely beautiful. We had a great time kayaking, paddle boarding, and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The suggestions made by the host were spot on for restaurants and fun local spots to visit. The kids LOVED the basement and had a great time playing all the arcade games and enjoying the space. The host was very accommodating, answered all our questions, and supplied us with everything we needed. I truly cannot say enough about this spot and am actually considering visiting again because we had such a fun and relaxing time. This was worth every penny!
