  • Mahone Bay Oasis

    Located directly in the heart of Mahone Bay on Main St - steps to shops, restaurants hiking trails, and right on the water. Whether you are working in the area, need a break, coming to take in a festival, visit the 3 churches, tour Oak Island, jump in the hot tub or shop, this is the perfect location to have everything you need to feel at home, while enjoying being away.

    This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom quaint and cozy tree-top apartment is all yours. With a full kitchen and just steps from a grocery store where you can stock up and fire up the BBQ or head out to the many unique restaurants within walking distance.

    Star gaze by the campfire, relax at the water's edge, or end the evening with a glass of wine on your private deck.

    You can stroll to the bandstand and watch a weekly concert, or just listen to the music coming from a local restaurant to help you take in the full ambiance of the area.

    The unit includes a handy beach bag and chairs so you can grab it and go, a yoga mat to roll out on the grass by the water and meditate or limber up to the lapping of the waves, and access to bikes so you can take in the local trails.

    We are also steps to the Town Square Gazebo - where all the bands play - jazz, classical, rock, and some Cabot Trail-like fiddle. You can sit on your private balcony and enjoy a glass of wine while you listen, or sit in the gazebo stands and take in the full experience.

    And just across the way you can see the 3 Churches, and listen to the Sunday service bells as they call for service. It's a slice of heaven in one of the top towns in Nova Scotia.

    It has all the kitchen and BBQ ameneties you need - from a salad spinner, drink blender, full fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, oven and stove top. It's a home away from home.

    It is the best location in Mahone Bay for access to everything.

    Just a reminder this is a no-pet property (no exceptions) and does have stairs (lots). And it doesn't sleep more than 3 - it contains a queen and a single bed, and nothing else space-wise.

The apartment was just as advertised. It was cozy and comfortable. The location was great- walking distance to a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Also only a short drive to Lunenburg. Would recommend this place 100%!

Mahone oasis is a perfect place in a fabulous location

Mahone Bay has such charm and Mahone oasis is set up perfectly for you to get to different areas of Nova Scotia or just to stay and enjoy the views of the bay. It was pleasant, welcoming and comforting. Tracy and Dave have gone out of their way thinking of all the details you need to enjoy your stay. Well located— next to grocery, bike shop other stores and restaurants. We were sorry to leave. The only caveat is there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but the view was wonderful.

Great Stay, Great Location

We spent a few days in Mahone Bay as part of our eastern road trip. Enjoyed the stay, very convenient location. And a short distance for a day trip into Lunenburg, Blue Rocks, and beaches.

Tiny tucked-away treasure

We loved our stay at Dave and Tracy's place. The best part of the place is the location--you are at the center of it all but all is not too much in MB!!!! The place is in the center of town (but quiet facing the back to the Bay) so you can walk EVERYWHERE easily. Feel like coffee--less than 5 minutes and you're at Eli and Trix. Feel like ice cream--less than 5 minutes to Macone Bay (and Oh My Cod if you need a quick sandwich). We loved puttering around and looking into the little shops and galleries (I love the pewter place the best). A longer walk to the brewery was well worth it. And we walked to the hike/bike trail to get a nice long walk in. The bedroom fits the bed and not much more but there is a living room/sitting area if you want to watch tv, read (some books there), do a crossword (also provided), or play any of the games there. The bathroom is super tiny (both are); it worked for us but it is a small stand-up shower and we are both not very big. The kitchen is likewise small but just fine for a short stay--has everything you need if you want to cook in (but why would you when there are so many yummy places to eat?). Dave and Tracy had a nice welcome for us with some snacks and we actually met Dave shortly after arrival and bumped into them on a walk in town later! Super friendly--very accessible (though we had no problems so no need to bug them). You can sit outside (2 of you) on the little deck or several of you down by Bay. Must be able to climb stairs!
