"A really nice, high quality base for a few days in Munich. The (lovely) walk to the centre is about 30 minutes, though public transport is also readily accessible. The area is genteel and there are plenty of options for eating out. Very comfortable, well equipped rooms with a complimentary mini bar offering both beer and soft drinks. Excellent staff. Buffet breakfast on the expensive side, but the quality of the produce and amount on offer made up for this (and removed the need for lunch!)....

"The hotel and room were modern and clean. Lots of storage options in the room. The custom shelving and desk seems very well made. The windows open in various ways which was kind of cool! Maybe that's the norm in Germany? The mini fridge in the room was handy. The only negative, if there is one, would be the bathroom was a bit tight. While washing my face over the sink I had to keep my elbows tucked close. But it was clean and modern, so overall, a good bathroom. The employees at the front desk...

"The room was perfect, with a four-poster kingly bed and clean and modern facilities. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast bar offerings were delicious. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the subway, trams and main train station. You can also walk to the old section of Munich. "

"This is our third multi night stay at Hotel Splendid-Dollmann, and we've enjoyed it even more each time. This boutique Hotel is well maintained, clean, and artistically attractive. Every member of the staff was very polite, efficient, and helpful. The continental breakfast was wonderful, with so many good choices to keep us full and happy until late afternoon.
