Contact owner for last minute deals and discounts on longer stays. Private, Cozy Country Chalet in Ludlow on the west side of Okemo mountain (less than 2 min. to Okemo base and about 4 min to Jackson Gore base, accessed from well maintained back roads, no traffic!).

Contact owner for monthly, mid-week, and weekly specials.
Highest speed internet available for remote working. New freezer just purchased for long-term rentals. High level cleaning is done between rentals, and a small supply of cleaning supplies are available to keep things fresh during your stay. We have an air sanitizer in the game room for use as well.

Located on a beautiful, 1 acre private lot with many trees to ensure privacy and beautiful views. Two fireplaces (one woodstove, one gas). Wood is provided.
Completely remodeled and lovingly maintained! Owners take pride in providing a vacation home that exceeds your expectations! Including: knotty pine interior with hand peeled log railing, Hickory flooring, wrap-around deck with outdoor dining and high-end Jacuzzi hot tub. Two entertainment areas (great room upstairs and bar/gameroom w/Air Hockey table downstairs).
Dining room has seating for 10 and a convenient buffet table surrounding by windows and open to the family room.

Bedroom Configuration is as follows: There is a full bathroom on every floor!!!
BR#1: 2 full beds (Bottom floor)
BR#2: King (Top floor)
BR#3: Full size bed plus twin above and twin trundle
BR#4 Queen (Main floor)
Linens and bedding are provided.
All beds have memory foam mattresses.
Pack and Play and High Chair is available for use.

The main floor has an open floor plan with expansive windows overlooking a wooded lot. Kitchen is well stocked to cook and a Weber grill is on the back deck. Kitchen has a stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is plenty of pots and pans and a crock pot too.

We have an expansive DVD movie library and the flat screens are SMART so you can access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, or HULU on vacation. There is a new gaming area in the bunk room with WiiU and games provided. We have Xfinity for cable to access local and sports channels. Every bedroom has flat screen TVs some with DVD as well.

Our home is located just off West Hill and is perfectly located to easily get to the ski base or walk right down the driveway for easy access to the VAST trails for hiking or snowshoeing. You can sled right down our driveway with provided sleds or go down the road to the West Hill Recreation Area which has an awesome sledding hill plus basketball courts for warmer weather fun.

Okemo is the place to be with 96% snow making coverage and consistent top rankings for snow quality! Our home is a beautiful choice if you want to be super close to the base while still having privacy to enjoy the ultimate vacation experience!

The mountain features 121 trails, slopes and glades and has 19 lifts, including 9 quad chairs (5 high speed detachable quads), 3 triple chairs and 7 surface lifts. Okemo has one Super Pipe and five terrain parks throughout the mountain. At 2,200 feet, Okemo has the highest vertical drop in Southern Vermont.
Okemo's award-winning children's programs accomplish two important goals - they provide fun, exciting and valuable learning experiences for kids ages 4-14 and they allow parents to enjoy themselves, knowing that their children are being taught and supervised by the best staff anywhere.
Our kids have been up on skis since they were 3, and the Okemo classes have been a huge asset in helping gain confidence and skills.

Cozy ski chalet a short drive to Okemo

This house was perfect for two families with teens spending a weekend at Okemo. The mountain was a short drive away. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was nice to have a big table that fit everyone for meals. The hot tub was a nice treat after skiing. It was so convenient that we could bring our dog too. The owner was very responsive to questions. We had a great weekend!

Wonderful Stay!

We found the hosts to be super helpful and friendly. Location was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and wood burning stove. It was a perfect stay for my extended family and I. The beds were also super comfortable-we slept great! We would definitely recommend this spot!

Quaint, private, very close to mountain

We stayed at Jennifer's place for a week after Christmas. The house was wonderful - cozy and roomy at the same time. There were 2 families (9 people) and we could have easily fitted a couple of extra kids. The house is tucked in the woods - you can still see it from the neighborhood road but the cabin and the lot are very private.I liked that the cabin had 2 living areas - basement and main floor which allowed adults and kids separate a bit.Basement also has air hockey table - great fun!The kitchen is a bit small but we did just fine in there - we cooked all of our meals there. The dining table was wonderful - long table with plenty of seating for all - for nice family dinner and board/card games.Jennifer was very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. Drive to the mountain (both - Jackson Gore and Clock tower bases) was easy.Would return to Jennifer's cabin in a heartbeat.

Ski getaway

This house is perfect. We stayed with mom, dad and 4 teenagers. 4 minute drive to Okemo mountain. House has plenty of room. Kitchen table was great for playing games at night. Definitely get some dinner at the loft restaurant/bar. Right near clock base. House has enough pots and pans to have meals at home. Thank you for a great mini vacation.

Cozy Cabin for Large Groups in Great Location

We had a great weekend staying in the cabin. Everything was exactly as promised in the listing. The hot tub was excellent and we loved the proximity to Ludlow and Okemo. We had one small issue with the water resulting from the recent floods but Jennifer was extremely helpful and got the problem solved immediately.

Weekend Getaway

Great cabin for a weekend getaway with 5 friends. The owner was easy to get a hold of and we loved the outside fire pit and also the downstairs game area for a rainy night. The water pressure was a little tricky at first but overall, it’s a great place and we would definitely book again.

Weekend in the woods

We absolutely loved our stay over this weekend. Despite the rain ludlow was still a lively town with great food and company. We had a reunion of girlfriends for the weekend and we were all raving about how cute this place was, how well stocked, how private, and how clean it was! Check in and and was a breeze and the host was super responsive and gave us great suggestions on what to do around town. I’m considering coming back with my family next time.

Perfect location for skiers and snowboarders who want to ski Okemo and many other VT mountains!

VRBO host (Jennifer) was kind and communicative. The house is great … cozy, comfortable, and clean. Highlights were the hot tub, wood stove when the power went out due to record snow fall, and family dinners at the dining room table. The beds were comfortable and the family-friendly set up was perfect for out 4-night stay over March break. Hope you enjoy this place & space as much as we did!

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was wonderful! We skied at Okemo for 3 days and stayed at the property 4 nights. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was big and was perfect after a day on the slopes. The host was kind and gracious as well. We enjoyed our time immensely and would recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay.

Short Trip Away

Highly recommended!

The house was great (exactly as expected), very comfortable for 10 adults and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The host was very responsive and accommodating, checking in/out was easy. We'd love to stay there again!

Lovely setting

Quaint, rustic home with spectacular setting. Our host was attentive and ready to assist if we had a problem. We had a wonderful time and the only issue we had was trouble with the water pressure. Other than that, this is a lovely home in the middle of beautiful woods. We would stay again!

Lovely summer getaway

Our 4 older teens (2 17 y.o., 2 19 y.o.) had a great time; the air hockey table was a huge hit as was the hot tub. Easy access to the fun activities at Okemo, and a quick jump in nearby Buttermilk falls is not to be missed. Nice fire pit out back for s'mores too!

Great house, great location, great host!

A group of us stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have been more pleased! The host was friendly and quick to reply, the home was well kept and spacious. The deck was great, and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The location couldn’t be beat, minutes to a shaws/restaurants/shops while feeling remote and private at the property. Would definitely come back if back in the Ludlow area!

Awesome place to with kids in close proximity to a lot!

Two families enjoyed a weekend at the Okemo Ski Chalet. Great house for kids. Has a neat VT lodge feel and was extremely clean and organized. Location was key - near lots of activities for families, adults and young kids. Jennifer was outstanding as a host - sent us a thorough list of activities in the area, suggestions on dining, shopping etc. Definitely recommend!
