Chalet Lighthouse, Kessingland

Lighthouse Chalet is a brick-built 2-bedroom holiday chalet that stands on Seaview Holiday Park in Kessingland. It is about 90 metres from the clifftop. A gently sloping path provides easy access to Kessingland beach.
The chalet sleeps four (a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds. It is modern, very clean and has a dishwasher, smart TV, high-speed broadband, electric shower, dining area and lounge area.
Seaview Holiday Park offers exceptional air quality and tranquillity. It is an ideal location for long walks along the beach.
Southwold is the next town to the south of Kessingland. You can get there by car in about 15-20 minutes.

The chalet is located in a very nice quite area with direct access to the dunes and seaside (very nice for daily walks), no direct seaview though from the chalet. The beds are small but have a good solid mattress. The owner is very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Summer Hols

Although compact Lighthouse Chalet is well equipped with lots of extras included. Chalet was nice, bright and clean, neighbours were all friendly and delightful. Guest Information folder has many places to visit nearby and we also used the hospital when one of my children injured themselves. The only thing I missed was a washing machine or on site laundry facilities with mountains of washing to do we used outdoor washer/dryer facilities at the petrol station in Kessingland, which was expensive and often busy resulting in driving back and forth. We were lucky with the weather, only one wet day, we loved exploring Southwold, Lowestoft, Gorleston Splash Park, Africa Alive, Pleasurewood Hills Themepark, Beccles and Beccles Lido. We had nice food and service at Happy Wok, The Waterfront, The Wherry and Kessingland fish and chip shop. 2 weeks zoomed by, and we liked all the lighthouse decor in Lighthouse Chalet.

Lovely Chalet

What a lovely little chalet. Very clean and with really nice surprise of complimentary tea coffee and biscuits and biscuits for our dog, perfect for when we arrived. We normally stay at another chalet on the same site but it wasn't being rented this year. I stumbled upon this one and was very pleased I did. Like everyone else I was concerned at going on holiday but Ray & Jenny have thought of everything lots if hand sanitiser, antibacterial cleaner and posters to remind us to wash our hands. It made us feel more relaxed about our stay. Great communication from Ray on the first night when it turned a little colder, he text me with details regarding heating....outstanding chalet and hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back! Hazel, Martin & Scarlett (the dog)

Revisiting Lowestoft

Well positioned for what we wanted in the local area, needed more personal space than a hotel could offer, ideal from that point of view. Good location for touring the area and carrying out family business.
