Just walking distance from the apartment is Africa Alive Zoological Reserve where you will find an amazing variety of animals and the opportunity to become a keeper for a day. There is also a great family pub/restaurant next door. Just a little further is Pakefield Pontins where you can buy a day ticket to use all their amenities which includes an amusement park and indoor swimming pool.

Visit the popular resort of Lowestoft, which offers traditional seaside entertainment including amusements and a theatre. Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is within a short drive too. Southwold with its pier, summer theatre and a visit to the Adnams Brewery is a must visit. Dunwich Heath and beach, RSPB Minsmere, Aldeburgh, with its fishing boats and local seafood, and Snape Maltings Concert Hall are all easily accessible, as are the lovely Norfolk Broads where you can hire day boats for a quiet sail down the river. Framlingham Castle is worth a visit, and if retail therapy and history is your perfect day out, then a trip to Norwich should be on your list. Pub and restaurant ¼ mile. Beach 1 mile.
