Conveniently located just moments away from Taylorsville Lake Marina this peaceful cottage gives you access to lazy days at the lake, visiting the world famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail, antiquing in small quaint towns and is only a forty-five minute drive to picturesque Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage sleeps up to 6 people. The primary suite includes a king size bed, private bathroom and television with balcony access. The second bedroom can accommodate four guests and is adult and kid friendly. Bedroom two has a twin bed with a trundle as well as a set of bunk beds and a television. This open concept cottage has a fully equipped kitchen connected to the cozy living and entertaining space. Enjoy playing games, surfing the internet, watching TV after a day of all the splendors Kentucky has to offer. In colder months, enjoy snuggling by the fireplace. Want to spend a little more time outside, how about a canoe adventure or a hike along one of the trails around the lake. In the summer, take advantage of the shared outdoor pool and sand volleyball. And, certainly don't miss the private hot tub located on your balcony overlooking the beautiful woods that trail down to the lake shore.

Overall a great getaway. Kitchen was well stocked which was much appreciated. The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated. The hot tub was clean as well. The only issue was that the fireplace was not working and wasn't repaired during our stay. It was Thanksgiving weekend though so that probably caused difficulty. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent home

We stayed for a long weekend to go to a few burbon trail stops and sightseeing in Louisville and Lexington. Quiet, peaceful, stocked with everything we needed. Location is very rural, but we didn’t mind making the scenic drives. We visited Keenland, and Louisville for the pumpkin spectacular. The hot tub was a perfect spot to relax. Beds were comfortable, enough seating for all 4 adults to relax and watch football. State park is nearby, we went for a hike. Owner was quick with responses when we had questions, Truly a perfect stay!

Quiet Getaway

The location was central for different things we wanted to do, and we loved the quiet area. The property was wonderful - clean, adequate space, and things were in working condition. Used the hot tub a couple of times, which was nice after a lot of walking during the day. Getting in and out of the gated community was easy, and we saw lots of wildlife in the area in the mornings and evenings. We didn't use it, but there is lake access nearby, and if we returned to the area, would consider bringing kayaks or a boat and stay longer. I would recommend staying here to any of my friends or family, we had a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay!

Overall, the stay was absolutely perfect! The hosts were very prompt in responses, and were extremely accommodating. The house was in a great location, very clean, and well stocked. I would absolutely use this location again.

Quiet Getaway

This place was cute, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfy bed and the close proximity to the Bourbon trail, Bardstown and Louisville. Would definetly recommend.

Right in the middle of bourbon country

We came to the bourbon trail to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. The cottage was perfect. Plenty of room for the 3 of us and very nicely decorated. Really, no one was around until Friday night of our stay (Tue thru Sat). Almost right in the middle of most of the bourbon trail. The hot tub and pool were very nice. The bed in the master was very comfortable. We will keep this place in mind should we venture this way again. Thanks

Bourbon Trail Hide-awsy

Wonderful stay whole traveling the bourbon trail! It was amazing to have this hide-away on the lake. It was peaceful and quiet. Coleman was responsive and kind. Highly recommend!
