Stunning home on Louis Head Beach available for rent.

This exquisite property is located on eight acres with a quarter mile of private beach frontage. The home is located at the end of the beach at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and the Sable River.
Recently constructed in 2009, this 2,300 square foot property has three floors of living space with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Sable River to the west. The home is surrounded on three sides by a large outdoor deck on the first level and a deck off of the master bedroom on the second level.
The beach house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The inside of the home was constructed of natural wood by a master carpenter to better complement the beautiful natural environment outside. The many amenities that are provided include Wi-Fi; cable TV on two levels; gas grill; washer and dryer; sheets, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen; fishing and clamming supplies; and a couple of kayaks.
Louis Head Beach is a two-mile long sandy beach with both deeper areas great for fishing and shallow areas ideal for swimming, body surfing, or sea kayaking.
It is a fifteen minute drive to the quaint village of Lockeport, known for its beautiful Crescent Beach, and roughly one half hour to the the picturesque seaside town of Shelburne. For extended shopping, dining, or other attractions the larger town of Liverpool is also one half hour away. For a big city experience, Halifax is around a two-hour drive to the northeast.

I recently stayed at this wonderful VRBO property, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The property is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is ideal, nestled in a peaceful area yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. The views from the property are stunning, offering a perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, and the living areas were spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this VRBO property to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I can't wait to return!

We had 7 people in all (one a toddler) and the house accomodated us perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. The only issue we had was poor satlite for the TV ... constant "blips". That was not important to me, but some in my family were disappointed by that. The beach is absolutely incredible, and the location is blissfully quiet and private. David and his wife were helpful and accomodating whenever I had a question. Some days were spent simply enjoying the wonderful beach, on others we made day trips to towns and villages around the south shore, and returned to our sanctuary at night, This vacation was blissful, and I will recommend this location every chance I get!

This is a quiet, tranquil setting with a long stretch of pristine, sandy beach right out the front door. Most times we were the only people on what seemed to be our own private beach. The house is extremely clean and we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck watching the chipmunks feast on the wild strawberries in the lawn. Totally relaxing and a completely enjoyable east coast experience.

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house in Louis Head. It is totally private and just a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in NS and most of the time there was nobody on it but us. We had intended to do some exploring of the south shore on this visit but the property was just too beautiful to leave!

This is our 2nd time staying at David’s property and it was once again a stellar experience. Immaculate property with everything you would need. The beach is like your own private hideaway. We spent almost every day on the beach and our kids loved it. Can’t wait to go back again next year

Everything was as advertised, lot's of space for 3 families to come together. The beach is HUGE and we hardly saw a person. Lots of seashells to find, a little walk gets you to a really safe place for the kids to swim. Right as you step onto the beach is a little steep but the walk is short. They have complimentary kayaks and sand toys. Only issue is there's lots of ticks! It's not the problem of the property, just the nature of being located near the bush. Otherwise, a really awesome stay.

Simply the best! Within minutes of our arrival we had begun to plan our next vacation here. The house was immaculate, and very well kept. The views are to die for! This lovely home is located on one end of lovely Louis Head Beach, a two mile long, broad, white sandy beach. Great for long walks, swimming and body surfing. From the upper deck we had beautiful views of the ocean and the full moon as it rose over the horizon. The house was cosy, modern and had all the equipment and toys needed to have a wonderful holiday.

We had a very relaxing unwinding trip! Beach is lovely/breathtaking. The home is well stocked and clean. Master BR is gorgeous. Mattresses are all very comfortable, as per our kids who slept very well! The host is easy to get a hold of. We had a group of 7 and had plenty of room to spread out. The views from the house were outstanding. The property had everything you need even with a large party. The owner was a phone call away and very helpful. They provided the toys for kayaking, claming, and biking. We did all of them. We had clams for dinner two nights. We watched seals play in the river and the loons flying back and forth down the river. The tide coming in and out was unbelievable. It was a bit of a drive to the more popular areas but honestly besides a grocery run you would never have to leave the property. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking a for a relaxing getaway!
