"Kylbeg was such a peaceful and relaxing place to be. Just a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood with an equally beautiful view. Lots of quiet and privacy. The location was great. So close to Cork City and the quaint towns of Carrigaline and Crosshaven, and an easy trip to the ferry over to Cobh. "Such a good spot to stay and close to the city. Staff are all lovely. The place was spotless. Good facilities. However when we went into the communal space with the pool table and stuff. There was some people in there drinking which is fair enough. But I’ve never been chased out of a room so fast by the looks we were given as if we were invading their space. Other then that pretty happy with our stay"

"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "Everything was readily available, super convenient, great location and much better than a hotel. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, full kitchen, large common area and laundry facilities in the same complex. "

"Spacious and good for a big group."

"We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well. "

"This is a beautiful property with stunning views towards Kinsale. The property is very well located to a number of major sites. If you enjoy small Irish towns and countryside, you will love this location. Our children and grandchildren also enjoyed the sport field, trampoline and ping pong table. "The place is set up more for families than 4 golfers in their 60’s but we found it the perfect place to stay. A short walk to the main business area and a short drive to Old Head Links. Street parking was easy but this is mid June. No idea what July and August will be like. "
