If you're familiar with Los Barriles you'll be pleased to know that you can walk across the street to Smokey's. Be assured that staying in a centralized location is the best way to soak up some local colour. This charming house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 bedroom in the main house and 2 adjacent guest rooms separated by a large open patio.

House was exactly as advertised. It was comfortable, close to beach and town, had secure parking. We really enjoyed our week long stay and would stay here again.

We loved our stay in this little casita! Wonderful little oasis back yard. Easy walk to beach and stores. Tucked away yet central to everything. Loved having a kitchen to be able to make coffee and breakfast. Wonderful stay, thank you! Hope to be back.

Perfect house close to the beach

We had a great stay, and the location is perfect. A block to the beach, and everything in town is walkable. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed. The house is well stocked, including with beach umbrellas and chairs:) Will be back!

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. The location is very central, close to restaurants, shops and beach. The house is clean and enough room for our family of 6. The host even rented us a 4 seater sxs for our stay for a great price. We will stay here again.

Unfortunate

Great location! The property was a bit dated and in need of some basic repair. We had an incident with the door locks and were locked out. Found a locksmith across the street who told us the doors have been a problem for 15 years! He said he would not fix it because he’s had problems with the owner. Response from the manager and owner was less than acceptable. We were instructed to break a window to get in. Happened on Saturday and we were told it could be fixed on Tuesday. After some discussion, they sent a different Locksmith who arrived at 8:00 pm. We had reported the problem at 2:30. The locks were changed by 10:00 pm, but the window remained broken, with a towel stuffed in it, until Tuesday. We had to take all valuables with us wherever we went as the property was not secure. Not once did the owner check back with us to see if things had gotten fixed. Very unprofessional and unfortunate. Will definitely go back to Los Barriles, but would never stay on this property again.

The host gave clear directions on how to enter the house, we were appreciative of the two jugs of water and a bag of ice in the freezer. The location was great as far as being close to restaurants, and only a block from the beach. Lots of hot water nice fluffy towels for the bathroom as well as beach towels. And the host was very quick to respond to maintenance items that did arise.

What a great place to stay in Los barriles! Great location near restaurants and a small grocery store. Quick easy walk to the beach. The house was very clean and had easy access. Great layout with the small shady courtyard in back. Roosters were noisy and there was some loud music but nothing unexpected for Mexico.

Great Location right in town

If you are looking for right in the middle of town and not needing a quad, SXS or car this would be it. You can walk to everything from this location. You do get a lot more noise being right in town, located right next to the boat storage and the road dust. Would be nice to have a little more outdoor seating on the back patio and a few essentials inside the house for beach days like travel cups if you don’t bring your own. Beds are a little firm but the pillows were great! Overall, good experience.

The property was great. One thing that could have made it better is more beach gear. One umbrella and two chairs with four people made hanging at the beach less than optimal. We went looking for an umbrella but could not find one to donate. We had a nice stay and enjoyed being able to walk to venues in town.

Awesome house!

This house is situated in a perfect location, within a five minute walk you can be within 5 restaurants, grocery store, souvenir store and pharmacy! The walk to the beach is 6 minutes away... it’s a quiet town. We will be back!!!
