Half a block to the famous El Porto surfing beach. Walk to restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and pubs! Or BBQ and relax on the deck. 2 level home with a den and 2 bathrooms. There is a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The den is on the bottom floor with a separate entrance. Perfect for families, couples, and friends!

THE STRAND -MANHATTAN BEACH is just a 3-minute walk.

Centrally located, just 15 minutes from LAX, SOFI STADIUM, YOUTUBE THEATRE & KIA FORUM!!

Excellent location - LOVELY being able to walk down to the beach (coffee in hand) every morning, and our son was in seventh heaven playing volleyball on the beach every day!Great set-up for a family of five, and our son's dog. We appreciated having a clear separation between us and our adult children, upstairs and downstairs. Great, prompt assistance from Eileen!

Every single knob on every kitchen cabinet was sticky. I tried to wipe them all down but gave up. The kitchen cabinets were all sticky as were the drawers in the kitchen cabinets. The silverware drawer has food crumbs all through it. The kitchen drain had serratia marcescens growing all over the drain cover. When i removed the sheets on my bed to wash as requested, there was a 4-5 inch diameter stain in the middle of the bed. There was sand on the floor under the table before we even walked torward the strand. We used the stove and a pan for making tea and the toaster. The kitchen and bathrooms cabinets are painted dark brown and then hit with something to chip away the paint and wood. The TV sound was unintelligible. The good news was we were visiting rwlatives in Hermosa Beach and we didn't need to spend much time or cook there. The friend who shared the space with me wants to do her own review.

The house was perfectly sized and well appointed for me and my friend! It’s a wonderful location - a quick walk to the beach and The Strand. The host was communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend this property and host for a trip to Manhattan Beach!

Great location

This place saved us when our previous VRBO rental canceled the day before our trip! The communication with the property manager was top notch & much appreciated to make us feel more comfortable with a last minute booking. The house is a little quirky but cute. It was only a few minute walk to the beach, so we went down every morning and walked the beach which was amazing. It is a pretty steep hill to get back to the house, just something to keep in mind if anyone has mobility issues. All in all it was a great stay!

Great location!

Loved the location of this property-best part for sure. Steps to the beach, great access to the strand. Bathrooms need some updating, kids were not able to use the tub. Overall a nice spot for a good value to explore MB

Lovely little municipality, family/neighborhood oriented, hop skip and jump down to beach. You could see and hear the beach waves. The property manager was a text/call away.

Steep Steps to the Beach

The place was clean, comfortable and very well located. We had everything we needed. Eileen was absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and communicative. My complaint is about the area, not the accommodations. None of the reviews mentioned that the short walk to the beach is actually down an extremely steep hill. All roads leading to the beach look like San Francisco - was not expecting that. Just beware if you have any mobility issues. Parking is terrible everywhere so everyone walks. If I were younger and had better ankles, it would have been better.

Great weekend getaway

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a short walk to the beach. It was spacious and comfortable. If you are up for walking, it is only a mile and a half from the Manhattan Beach Pier and downtown. Close to lots of restaurants and yet quiet and chill. Our host, Eileen, was amazing and was on top of all communication. Highly recommended and would book again.

Great location and communication

We enjoyed our stay by the beach, being able to walk to the beach and restaurants/shops each day. We had a little issue during our stay, but the host was very responsive and got it addressed within a couple hours. We would gladly stay there again sometime.

Lovely Beach cottage

This is a lovely beach cottage. Two blocks from a gorgeous beach and close to some really good restaurants. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.

Great house for easy beach access.

This property was a perfect location to the beach and about a 25 minute walk to the heart of all the restaurants, galleries, stores, etc. in Manhattan Beach. The property manager was very accommodating and and always available to answer any w. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again in the future.
