Tranquil Fisherman's Cottage a Minute From The Beach with free reserved parking

  • Sandpipers is a 150 year old ex-fisherman's cottage ideally situated in the heart of East Looe. It is arranged over 3 floors, set in a quiet traffic free lane and only metres from Looe's sandy beach, picturesque working fishing harbour and bustling promenade, with all the town's facilities on your doorstep. Sandpipers has been extensively refurbished, including a new kitchen and wet room, whilst keeping it’s original character. It has extensive living space within as well as outside seating on a planted, open courtyard and benefits from a free reserved parking space in the Millpool carpark nearby.
    The stairs are a little steep, as are all ex-fishermans cottages in Looe, but may not suit less mobile guests.

Perfect location in town and beach. Unfortunately I suffer a bit with walking difficulties so stairs big problem. I knew about stairs before I booked so can only blame myself. Apart from this everything Perfect and would definitely recommend it unless walking difficulties

The cottage was beautiful, everything we required was there and available.It is pristine clean and very comfortable.It is within a few yards walking distance to the beach with plenty of places to eat and explore.However it is not suitable for the less mobile person's.The car park although has a free alokated space but it is quite away from the cottage.We loved it and would happily stay again.

This accommodation is perfect whether you want to spend days relaxing by the beach and eating out at the many restaurants/pubs Looe has to offer or if you want to use it as a base to explore Cornwall. Sandpipers has everything you need to feel at home, spotless and heating worked a treat when it got chilly. You are 2 minute walk from East Looe Beach, the main shops and various restaurants. The car park with an allocated spot is approx 10 min walk from the house but you can do bag drop off closer to Sandpipers. Would highly recommend and we hope to return

The property is a real home from home, with everything you would ever need. Over three floors , with ground floor kitchen, first floor lounge and shower room/toilet and second floor, double bedroom and bunk beds in other bedroom. Loads of cosy and homely touches. Very near the sea front and a variety of quirky and essential shops. The host is pro active in communication leading up to the stay, and answers any questions within minutes. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely cottage just minutes from the beach and all of East Looe. The cottage is immaculate and everything seems brand new. It was the perfect lication, quiet and secluded, but close to all. Ivstayed in March, so not everything was open, but there seems to be loads to do--fishing, crabbing, the beach, and boat tours, plus amusement arcades for the littles. I highly recommend Sandpipers for the perfect lovely holiday! One caveat, the stairs in the cottage are steep, so pack your good knees and a light suitcase.

Unbeatable location in the sweetest of Cornish coastal towns. We have never stayed in anywhere so convenient! The cottage is sweetly compact and the parking being included was a real bonus.

A lovely cottage that was really close to the beach. We had a very comfortable stay and the cottage had all the amenities needed. It was great to have a kitchen and dining area as well as a separate lounge. Great to have free parking too . Good communication from the host prior to our stay.

Another year, another great week in Looe. This property is in a quiet area but in the heart of everything and convenient to shops, pubs, restaurants, crabbing, harbour and beach. Great location for all including a family of 4 (like us).
