Welcome to Jolene’s Place. This stylish 1100sqft 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has been recently updated and provides all the comforts of home. Located just on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jolene's is just a short drive to many of the local areas and attractions like Laurel Lake, Cumberland Falls, London, and Corbin. The home sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds and a queen highrise air mattress in the living room. The driveway offers plenty of room for boat parking as well.
The Stay:
This is an older cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on just under an acre. The interior has been recently updated and features laminate wood flooring throughout. This is an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining areas all together. Most of the furniture in the home was bought in fall 2021 along with mattresses and all linens.

Living room features: 2 leather sofas, end tables, coffee table, accent chair, fireplace hearth, 50" smart Roku TV, coat and shoe rack

Kitchen and Dining Area features: lots of cabinets and counter space, Stainless steel Kenmore Elite appliances, most common small appliances (crockpot, blender, hand mixer) and utensils, coffee bar, complimentary spices, seating for 6 at the bar height table with 2 additional bar stools.

Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with 2 side tables, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside hanging lamps, 3 drawer chest, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" Smart TV.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with side table, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside lamp and table with USB ports inside, chest of drawers, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" TV with firestick, games in top of closet.

Bathroom: Standard size shower, wall and hand held sprayer, complimentary toiletries, towels, hair dryer, curling iron, ceiling exhaust fan and heater

Laundry room: Top load washer and dryer, complimentary laundry soaps, folding laundry basket, decorative salt lamp, bench at back door for shoes, access to the patio.

Covered Patio: 3 rolling shades, Kentucky shaped bench, glass top table and folding chairs; sitting area with rug 2 chairs, couch, table, and propane firepit table.

Backyard has a fenced in area for hanging out or letting the kids play.
There is plenty of parking for vehicles with a turn around spot and additional gravel parking for boats and trailers

Wonderful!

Great little place to stay close toLaurel Lake. Has large back deck with grill to hang out after day on the lake. We have stayed at Jolene multiple times and it never disappoints. Always super clean and comfy! Large driveway to park boat/trailer. Has every amenity you will need!! 5 stars!!

Jolene, Jolene!

We absolutely loved staying in Jolene! It is truly an amazing property with easy access to town and beyond. I specifically picked this property based on distances to what we were doing in the state. Everything is about an hour and a 1/2 away from Jolene! Jolene is immaculate! From the cleanliness to the decore - extremely well done! This fun theme is found throughout the home from large details to the smallest detail! Well stocked, thought out additions, and access to a variety of streaming services. I'd stay there again - in fact, I said I would live there! Well done hosts! You nailed a perfect vacation rental!

Wonderful Experience

This was our first stay at an property like this. We really enjoyed ourselves. The grandchildren could play in the fenced in backyard while the grownups talked and visited. We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. It got too cold for us so we had to stay in the last couple of days. We are from the south and the north is really cold to us. It was comfy. We will make sure we call again when we need a place up in Kentucky. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Wonderful stay

This place was very clean and had a very comfortable mattress on the bed. I recently had neck/back surgery so I was worried about the bed being uncomfortable but it was very comfortable. The house was very cute- definitely will go back.

Laurel River Lake fishing adventure

Great place to stay 😊!! Plenty of parking for a 21’ boat and 2 vehicles.The house was super comfortable and very clean . The massive cold front made fishing extremely tough , but the scenic beauty was amazing.would highly recommend Jolene’s Place to family and friends. 😊✌️❤️

Amazing lake house!

Our family of 5 stayed at this comfortable home for a long weekend and it was perfect for us! Very convenient to Holly Bay Marina and the Grove. Loved the layout of the home and how cozy it was. I love a clean home and this couldn't have been cleaner! So well stocked with all the extras you could possibly think of too. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee and eating our dinner on the back porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Great little place, close to Laurel Lake! Spotless and has any amenity you need. Nice covered back porch with grill and fire pit for evenings after the lake. Spacious drive way for boat parking. 4th stay here and hope to be back next year! JB

Great house close to the lake!

This was our second time staying at Jolene's and we're planning on going back in August. The house has everything you need for your vacation, including some complimentary snacks and water bottles! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to the lake or even Cumberland Falls!

It’s a wonderful place to stay!! It’s not huge or anything but we love the space.

Being on the back is porch is the best mainly when it’s warm. My 9 month loves it she can run her walker all over the place. We love the Dolly theme!! Very nice for the price. The hosts are amazing they go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable and don’t forget to sign the book in the living room!! It’s one of our favorite things reading everyone’s else entries!
