"As a long-time Hilton member and frequent traveler, I have never been charged a fee when I left for anything in all my years of traveling. Today, when I received my bill, I was charged a $150 cleaning fee because there was “hair dye on the towels and carpet”. The problem is nobody dyed their hair. I’m thinking, if anything, it could be makeup or suntan lotion, but charging $150 for something that could be bleached is crazy. I’m a mother who walks the room before I leave and didn't see anything...

"Everything was good and we stayed two non-consecutive nights. The staff were excellent; the breakfasts were really great and much appreciated; and the rooms were clean. The only minor issues were (1) there was no convenient non-gravel place to walk the dog, so we went across the highway to "softer" ground and a grassy margin along the road; and (2) we found a quite dead, desiccated insect on the bathroom floor that was missed during routine maintenance. Besides those VERY minor issues, our stay...

"The hotel was dirty, the front lobby smelled bad, and the place was under construction. We were rudely awakened by the sound of construction in the room next door. The halls were filled with boxes and the carpets were covered with plastic wrap from stains. Dogs were constantly coming in and out of the hotel, contributing to the bad smells. I wouldn't stay here again."
