"Very conveniently located for the city centre and shopping. Nice staff, good facilities. The apartment was modern, well equipped kitchen and bathroom - perfect for us 3 guests. However on arrival there were only 2 tea bags for 3 people! It was a bit annoying having to keep asking for coffee pods. We bought our own tea bags in the end. "

"This is a refurbished building in the Market District. The front desk staff are outstanding and we really appreciated the laundry available for no charge in the basement. We found the rooms very spacious but lighting was somewhat dim for my liking. Clean and tidy with the kitchen having all we required. The area was vibrant if a bit loud due to bars nearby. I'll visit again when we get back this way."

"Check in was a complete nightmare, hotel front desk was in a different building then advertised Front desk was no help unless u beg them to help. Never would I recommend this place Stay away. Room is dirty , hotel is in a dirty part of town. "

"So spacious and comfortable. Text and email communications excellent. Really clear and helpful regarding the check-in app, luggage storage option, etc. Apartment even bigger than expected, shame we were only there one night! Location perfect for us, right by the theatre."

"VR Apartments are very well located in Southside Glasgow. My wife and I were over for her to have a surgery and short recovery, 5 day stay. We found the flat to be quite small, we are both quite tall people so would likely not book again based on this alone. The flat would suit someone of a shorter height or individual booking better. The hosts are incredibly responsive via text message, they were accomodating of an early check in for us which was greatly appreciated. There was a security mishap...

"Person who rented out the apartment ignored my calls, texts & emails which meant we had no access to apartment even though it was paid for. My wife & me were left stranded in the freezing cold in Glasgow & had to book a hotel. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people, would avoid at all costs."

"I requested for more toilet paper and they instead gave me more soap, I tried to reach out asking for toilet paper. The rest of my stay there was no toilet paper."

"Cleanliness in the apartment was top notch but the entrance from the door through the staircase was not pleasant. The stairs should be rugged atleast, to give it good first impression. The shower wasn't working or we couldn't get through with turning it on, so we had to be fetching water from kitchen each time we wanted to shower. We also couldn't access the wifi. The password was there but we didn't know what network to connect to as there were many on the drop down and we kept trying the...

"Large group of us stayed here for a friend’s stag do and we all had a brilliant time. The villa was nice with plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable, the garden was massive and the hot tub was amazing. The location was also spot on with loads of places to eat and drink in the town centre. There was also the option of going into Glasgow as the train station was only a short walk from the villa. Chris and Frances were excellent hosts and were always around if we needed anything. I...

"Originally when booking property I had questions for which I never got response. The property management did send me several emails none of which gave any answers and provided inaccurate info about how to access the keys for entry. I had to make an expensive intl. call to the owner to get correct code and was told that they would not stay on the phone to assure it worked. Kitchen was dirty I had to wipe everything and towels were only hand towels; not bath towels. Disappointed!"
