"This is a really nice hotel and it had everything we expected in Inverness. Cozy and accomodating to our needs. We traveled with kids and most relevant of all was the presence of Molly, a pet whose owner worked at the reception, an extremely nice pet that made our kids happy playing fetch in the greener grass ever and on a superb weather. "Location is great. Hotel room had very comfortable beds. The bathroom was huge with shower and tub, but looked out of space and empty. No railings or hooks for towels. No safe in the rooms either. We had a tour with the distillery with Richard who was fantastic. Breakfast seemed very disorganized and not a lot of options. Coffee also not as good. "

"The room was clean and sufficient for us to basically just sleep there. The noise coming through the vent fan in the bathroom was loud. We got hot at night so had to open the windows…it was noisy. But we managed and overall would stay again. "

"The staff, room and hotel was very nice. But I have to say the prices for a hotel in the Highlands was London prices. Also we took breakfast with the room and when we checked out, and I checked the bill, they charged for herbal tea, this was never explained to us. The lady at the reception took this charge off. "

"Pros: Staff were very friendly. Area was quiet and felt safe. Blackout curtains were great. Bathroom was very nice, well lit and surprisingly large. Morrison’s was an easy drive away, which we found very useful. Cons: because our room slept five the beds were packed in the space pretty tight - but we were overall thankful to fit our whole family in one room. Walk to/from the car park felt a bit long when carrying suitcases in and out. Road work in the area (June 2025) had a road closed and...

"Yes, the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room we were in needs some refreshing but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth staying. Meals in the restaurant/pub were very delicious. It is about half hour from Inverness but that means the area is very quiet. The hotel overlooks the bay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "
