"We had an amazing stay at Melfort House and we would love to go back. The house is warm and welcoming, just like Matthew the host. The loch room has excellent views and the garden surrounding the house is green and lush. "The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."

"We were greeted at the Reception by Andrew the Owner and shown to our room by Amanda both of them were very friendly polite and helpful . Our Room was lovely and had everything that we needed in it . The Breakfast was excellent compliments to the Chef also the Girls in the Bar were very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay and will be back again."

"Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. "
