"Lovely stay"

"Uniquely beautiful setting on the island with wonderful, comfortable rooms, and exceptional dining. Pool area is very nice, with functioning steam room. Unfortunately the sauna was not working during our visit which was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. The suite near the spa was a very comfortable room to occupy. Dinner and breakfasts were thoroughly enjoyable and delicious. "

"Beautiful view of the harbour located near the main road into town and very near Castle Dunollie,The rooms were clean and modern with vaulted celings and very comfortable beds however the elevator was abit clostrophobic, i would also encourage any Management reading to adjust the door tensioners so they close properly behind the guests and maybe look at the window fixings but break fast was great, haggis included and all staff friendly and hospitable, the parking was abit tight but found public...

"Beautiful room, tremendous view, lots of little touches, e.g. binoculars on the window ledge, dressing gown and slippers, a dram left on the window ledge, a proper bottle of milk left in the fridge, a wee bottle of irn bru, energy bars….. and the list goes on! So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did. Must be one of the best guest houses in Scotland, and we’ve visited loads of them. Top...

"We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. "

"The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. Bathroom door stuck every time and the bottom sheet was not big enough for the twin beds that had been pushed together. The downside was that there was a comment that we had booked through Expedia when we arrived. We know that booking through third party companies rather than directly can lead to guests being given the less favourable rooms which can be...

"The host was very kind! I appreciated the drinks and snacks in the room and the comfortable bed! It was so cozy and warm! Check in was easy as I arrived late in the evening all the instructions were posted for me :) I would definitely stay again! "

"We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. We had evening dinner which was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean but just needs a good update, which is a shame as the hotel was a great stop off for us. The bathroom door was very small to get through and the bed was a small double. All in all a good stay."

"Our room was very nice, we had the twin bed room so things were a little close but still not bad. The closet was small but worked well for us. The bathroom was very clean and nice with all the amenities we needed. There was tea/coffee maker in the room with several bottles of water. The service from the staff was excellent from the check in, maids and waiters. I will admit when I saw it was a distillery it piqued my interest thinking whiskey, nope it is a gin distillery.
