Herbert Hoover National Historic Site

We loved Hotel Millwright! The hotel was clean. Our room was clean and spacious. Art is everywhere with artifacts from the woolen mill. There is an onsite bar and restaurant. We received a token for a complimentary drink during happy hour. There is an outdoor patio between the hotel and another small bar named the Electric Thread - very cozy! The hotel is within walking distance of pretty much everything in town. There is still a functioning woolen mill on the hotel campus. The Amana Furniture shop is also there. You can watch weavers and woodworkers work M-F at these places. I loved the Warped and Woven gift shop which sells items from the mill.
