We had a lovely welcome at reception, and we had booked a Spa afternoon before our check in . The welcome was not as forthcoming at the Spa , and it seemed a little disorganised. The room was modern, spacious and cosy with a wonderful view of the gorgeous gardens. The bed wasnt very comfortable unfortunately. The building has a lot of character which doesnt feel dated, except the carpet! The staff were really friendly and helpful.
