"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us.
