"This beautiful gem is perfectly located at Shawnigan Lake, approximately 30 min from downtown Victoria. This property comes fully equipped with a kitchen, BBQ, king size bed, patio, and a hot tub. And of course, Ruby the Doodle is an extra addition to the full suite of amenities, offering security, taste testing, and companionship. We really enjoyed staying at this property and we would recommend this home away from home to anyone! Thank you Sylvain!!!"

"Sitting in comfortable chairs, on a massive deck, overlooking a beautiful lake, covered in a low, slow moving mist and thin clouds. As the sun rise above the trees, directly i front of you, the entire world turns pink and red though the disappearing mist over the water. You are only sign of life except the song of the birds. And that's just the first hour. "

"the view was amazing, the unit was clean, and beautiful. everything was working fine. there are some trails nearby too. it was just amazing. there are still construction being done but it doesnt disturb us"

"Such a great place. Room was set up with everything you would need. They thought of the little things. Bed comfy. Beautiful property with a pond. They set us up to have a fire in the evening & morning. We listened to tree frogs & owls. Lovely walking area through forest behind the home. Miniature ponies. A nearby shore where we watched sunset and seals playing. Close to ferry. Hosts were great. Super friendly & helpful. We will be back!"

"This is a perfect stay for someone who is looking to just get away from it all. I went alone for some downtime but I can easily see this being a lovely romantic getaway, too! Hear the birdsong and enjoy a book in the private bath under the leafy trees, or enjoy a takeout charcuterie and color with Tara's great coloring supplies in the cabin. "Overall good stay. Nice little unit, lower level of a big house. large windows, clean. Lots of clean towels. A nice welcome gift with bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water. No kitchen,but a microwave coffe maker and kettle, with lots of dishes and cutlery, tea and coffee. Great location in a nicer area of the city. Clean, outside very quiet. What we didn't like that much: *poor insulation,to the point that you can hear people talk on the level above.And them walking is crazy loud* *owner...

"My young family and I enjoyed the perfect getaway at Hidden Pond. Only a 30-minute drive from Victoria and we arrived at the beautiful rural property. The Gong Suite was very spacious and had the most charming touches, such as whimsical art, luxurious linens, classic board games, and a coffee bar stocked with fresh fruit, muffins and cookies. "We enjoyed our stay. The neighbourhood is wonderful. The unit is clean, safe, bright and has all amenities. Owner was easy to contact and the unit had lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay feel like home for the week. Parking was easy. Supermarkets less than a 10 min drive.The neighbourhood has lots of wonderful walking tracks. Would stay again… hopefully soon!!"

"Very nice relaxing getaway !I am very fond of the RV, so many cabinets and so spacious! The bed is so comfortable and pillows so soft! The host is so friendly and welcoming, I love the farm animals as well! Such a simpleway of living. I loved looking into the nice mountains view.i will be staying here again I highly recommend this place!10 starts for me "
