Hotels a Llac San Marcos, San Marcos

"It was a hotel. Nothing special or anything. But I didn't expect that with the price. I was very disappointed in the $100+ difference from what I booked on Expedia. I would have booked elsewhere had I known I would have been charged more. We got food poisoning from the breakfast. Which tasted reheated or well over hold times and that was at the start of breakfast times. We didnt eat there after the first day. They only clean every 3 days which is fine but we wanted clean towels as there were 6...

"Staff were friendly, room was clean and breakfast was good"

"Enjoyed my stay! Quiet and clean."

"The room was clean and spacious. AC was a bit difficult to set accurately, and rather noisy. Breakfast foods were delicious. Major complaint: room rate for Saturday was about $150 more than Sunday. And, at that rate the room was not refreshed at all Sunday morning: bed left unmade, no fresh towels, no new coffee packets for the in-room maker. Very unsatisfactory for a room well above $300 in north San Diego County (not NYC, LA, SF, even downtown San Diego)!"

"Loved the last minute availability, close proximity to Safari Park, snacks, & morning buffet, free parking & friendly staff."

"Oct 3 rd we didn't have water to showe ourselves in the morning due to some water hydrant accident. But hotel didn't inform us regarding the inconvenience or do nothing. It was very inconvenient and handle poorly."

"Nice stay. Great kitchen. Newer amenities except for the pool that was being repaired. We toured the zoo, art museum, beaches and old Carlsbad from this location. Found Origins coffee to offer a great cup of coffee. Breakfasts were free so I can’t complain. Thank you for keeping it clean Hilton staff."

"We found that Homewood Suites was great. The rooms were well equipped with a stove , refrigerator , dishwasher and garbage disposal. A nice eating area and sitting area and nice sized bedroom and bathroom. Lots of storage and big closet. The staff was great and it was nice to have a complimentary breakfast in the morning in a common area by the desk. There is also a pool and an additional outdoor area for seating with a fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there"

"Wifi didn’t reach my room. Bad service for internet"

"Staff was helpful and kind bed was comfortable and pillows too. Clean room but had really bad smell in hallway that we kept smelling in our room. I told staff they said they would check it out and try to help. but then it was back the next day not sure what was going on. other than that it was a good stay"

"Absolutely wonderful time there. Everything was magnificent and the staff was great also."
