"This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."

"The house was lovely but communicating with the owner was appalling. She never ever answered emails. Finally I had to call the website and at last located someone who could help and so I could arrange checking in etc. However there was no information available in the house about either workings of the house itself (lights, locks etc) or local contacts and possible places to visit (which would have been nice). "Our family had a great experience for 7 nights at Avithos resort. super close to the airport (9 minute), excellent location! Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). Beautiful views and sunsets! kristina helped us reserve a private boat to Zakynthos and is super knowledgeable! Hotel is close to two beaches, small markets, 15 min to a bigger grocery...

"Spacious and clean with daily visits providing a 'light' clean that left everything as it began. Great views across the inlet and easy viewing from the balcony as long as you do not mind the fairly busy road below. Drivers were mostly casual and considerate and could not be heard from within the property. Convenient location within a few minutes of the market square filled with restaurants and shops as well as the ferry to Lixouri, the second largest town on the island. All in all, we had a...

"Just amazing. The family are awesome and make you feel like you are at home. The food was awesome. Rooms were so clean and newly renovated . Worth the trip up the hill to get those views. We will be back "

Super disponibile per richieste extra come asciugamani supplementari e check out fuori orario. Consiglio vivamente vista la posizione baricentrica rispetto all’isola e la possibilità di uscire a piedi la sera per il centro di Argostoli. "

"A lovely place. Really clean, great location - just 5 mins drive out of Fiskardo and really close to lots of little beaches. The pool and gym were great to come back to too. "

"We had a fantastic vacation with our family at Phivos Villa - the whole vibe of the villa, incredibly complete and spacious, with a large, wonderful pool and various areas to sit, dine, relax, with full privacy and great views and for us the ideal location - nearby (ca 10 minutes drive) many good restaurants, boat rental (at Agia Effimia), or e.g Mythos beach. Highly recommended! "
