"We wanted a quiet, rural retreat in a character cottage and this place totally delivered. It may not be for everyone, but we knew what we were getting when we came. The house was built in 1710. The cottage, with its thatched roof has all the character you could ask for. The kitchen and bathroom are modern, well equipped and the sitting area is comfortable. "What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. The space inside and out was brilliant for a group and Charlie and Kitkat were really helpful in the lead up and during our stay. We really enjoyed having the big outside space, as well as plenty of space to cook and dine together - the double fridge was excellent!
