"The rooms are comfortable with everything you need and staff had sorted our adjoining rooms as I'd requested on expedia. Rooms were clean with good facilities - all you need. Evening food in the pub was lovely, but the full English breakfast was fantastic! To top it off - lovely staff and will definitely stay again."

"Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. "

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! "From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly which continued throughout our 2night stay. Room a lovely size. Lovely and warm too. Food was great and bar staff attentive too. All in all a very relaxing experience and would thoroughly recommend to others. "
