duplex apartment rebuilt in 2012 and located in Lisbon, Alfama, in the historic area, typically Portuguese neighborhood in the heart of fado.

The apartment is located in central Lisbon, Alfama with the possibility of visiting several historical and religious monuments of Lisbon, without requiring the use of car.

1 bedroom apartment with independent access to the exterior, large spaces properly decorated where they sleep 4 people, composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 living room / 1 sofa bed where it sleeps 2 people comfortably, 1 reading room, 1 dining room, 1 Fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom equipped.

We will be available, whenever possible to make excursions to beaches, Belém, Cascais and Sintra (weekends - Saturday and Sunday), to make your stay unforgettable, including tourist brochures, tourist maps, indication of Portuguese gastronomy, etc.

It is compulsory under the Law to pay tourist tax of 2 euros per person / night, at the time of the chek-in.

It was a nice place but extremely hot. And we were told to keep all windows closed while we were sleeping. It was quite uncomfortable.

Our hosts Maria and Barbara were very welcoming and the apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and centrally located in Alfama. When we had an issue with the hot water not lasting more than a few minutes, both of them came over and checked things out. They were dismayed that the water heater was malfunctioning and they couldn’t get it fixed before our stay ended. They offered to let us out of our stay and give us a full refund. We felt bad that it was out of their control. We ended up staying and they agreed to refund us 1 of the 3 nights.

If you’re looking for a stay in one of the oldest districts in Lisboa with an area of lots of character and charm, then this is the perfect place. While, a couple of minutes walk from the nearest road, there are plenty of excellent restaurants near by. As a plus, there is a small market a few doors down.The place is very clean and it would be perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Marie and Barbara were perfect hostesses and they promptly answered any question I might have. They even checked up on me to make sure I was okay when they heard about the terrible funicular accident.I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again.

Location location location

The apartment is in the heart of the Alfama district. It is clean and well equipped with all of the amenities you need. The host is very responsive and had lots of useful items like maps and bus passes. She met us and provided a great overview. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful days in Lissabon

Immaculate comfy home with everything nearby

We had such a lovely time in this beautiful duplex tucked away in the heart of Alfama. It is central to everything and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. It is immaculately clean, and well supplied for those who like to cook. It that’s not your thing there are many wonderful restaurants and cafes and bars nearby. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. Oh, and the bedroom is like sleeping in heaven on a cloud. We loved our stay and hope to be back some day.

Alfama Experience

Apartment is clean and the hosts very friendly and accommodating. We found the unit quite dark With bathroom on main floor and bedroom on second floor, it can be annoying. Location is in the heart of Alfama area, walking distance to many attractions. You cannot get a car too close, and have to walk with your luggage up or down steep slopes and/ or stairs, so best to pack light. Overall, it is.a good apartment in a good location. Watch out for dog droppings. LolMaria and Barbara are great hosts.

Beautiful, fun experience

This home is lovely, very clean and beautifully updated. The location of this old city gave us a genuine Lisbon neighborhood experience. No cars are able to get to the front of the house so you will need to be able to carry luggage down stairs and walk up and down stairs to get around the neighborhood. Overall we had a great time and the host was helpful to meet us at the home for check in. We had everything we needed for our stay.

beautiful flat

this flat was exactly what we needed. It was in a great location and the host was excellent. She answered our questions and even gave us suggestions on where to eat. The only gripe that we had was that in the listing it says that there is parking available but the parking is a nightly paid lot at the bottom of the hill. The lot wasn't outrageously priced however that would have been good to know prior to arrival.

Nous avons apprécié cette très belle appartement luxueuse dans un quartier magnifique de Lisbonne. Everything was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. This place is top quality. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We loved the neighborhood although there is a lot of stairs to climb everywhere. Bars restaurants and shops close by and easy access to transportation. We highly recommend this place

Logement charmant

Bel emplacement au cœur du quartier Alfama. Logement très humide et chaud, car il y a seulement une fenêtre qui s’ouvre très peu. Logement bien équipé, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la laveuse ☺️ et la petite corde à linge.
