I am so happy I found this gem of a property, in a fantastic location in my price range. It was easy to find from the metro, a 5 min level walk from Marquês de Pombal station, close to multiple bus stops and less than 15 min by taxi, to the airport when I left. The hop on/off buses also start from 5 mins away. There are many supermarkets, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions close by, a 20 min pleasant walk down to Rossio station. The area is clean and safe, the property also is safe and quiet. This was very important to me being a solo female traveler.
The property staff are lovely and helpful. I stayed in Alameda suite for 5 nights and it was super comfortable and clean, I slept like a baby and always had hot water and lots of towels when I took a shower, great water pressure too.
The room has everything I needed even though it was a small room; fridge, desk, kettle, ability to open the door and get fresh air and an air conditioning/heating unit. My bed was comfy and lots of fresh linens and pillows.
I didn't use the kitchen or lounge but they looked really nice. The view from the terrace by the kitchen is stunning, it was a shame there was no outdoor furniture to enjoy it a little more.
I will definitely stay at Casa Belmonte when I come back to Lisbon. Thank you!
