Mixed experience overall. The stay got off to a frustrating start as I wasn’t sent proper check-in details or a working link. I had to call five times before getting through, with long waits and disconnections. Even then, they kept sending the same non-working link until they finally gave me the code over the phone.
The location is great, right in Lincoln city centre, with parking a one-minute walk away (£12 for 24 hours) and plenty of food options nearby. First impressions were good, with a clean entrance and a comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable, with clean sheets and fluffy pillows, and the bathroom was also clean.
However, there were issues. Under the bed was dirty with a build-up of dust, and there were stains on the bed runner. The walls are very thin, so noise from other guests travels easily, especially late at night.
Major concern: I accidentally left my sandals behind and contacted the property immediately. I was told to email, which I did, but I’ve had no response. Given how quickly rooms are cleaned, it’s difficult to understand how they could not have been found. The lack of response is extremely concerning and raises serious doubts about whether lost items are handled honestly. I would strongly advise not leaving anything behind.
