"SomaPalmshore is an amazing place to stay if you just want to chill out for a while. The people are first class and were always there to help. The garden and pool are really clean and well maintained. The beach at the bottom of the garden feels as if it's private because so few people go there. Sunset from the rocks will melt you. "

"We had a great two weeks in the hotel with the staff being very flexible in accommodating us. The hotel is metres away from the beach, we had a sea view room with air conditioning which was very pleasant. However, the photos of the hotel on Expedia we saw are at least 20 years old and the hotel is no way a 4* hotel by western standards. "This property sits back from the beach about 100m, making it quiet and peaceful, with many birds singing in the morning. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was clean. This is a great stay for a budget hotel. Kovalum Beach is really scenic as well."
