"The only thing Premier about this hotel is the name. they have rooms with beds but that is about it. I woke up in the middle of the night by some loud racketing outside the room (103 close to the breakfast room), thought it was someone drunk coming back, but it kept on and on. After some time I went out to the reception and it was the persons in the reception doing vacuumcleaning like a grumpy teenager bumping around chairs and slamming with doors. "The staff were lovelylovely powerless. Ibdid not have heating in my building. The staff could not help with the non existent heating, provide a heater or alternative room. However I was refunded, but this did not compensate the inconvenience caused.on my second night I didn't sleep because there were very noisy drunk German students having a party until 3AM. I was forced to find alternative accommodation for my third night as the staff informed me that she couldn't guarantee it would be quiet...

"Pet friendly , lovely enclosed large garden my dog was allowed to use , breakfast served in old pub area really historic & friendly helpful owners . Stayed in hikers number 1 , very clean & modern & everything provided with view of garden , easy to find & local pubs if needed . Hope to return . "

"It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days. In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too."

"This is a really great hotel and excellent value too. My room had a balcony overlooking the marina and the staff were all very welcoming and highly professional. I particularly like the decor in this place - even the corridors are cool. I've stayed in a few Malmaison places and they always give each location a particular character making each one a memorable experience. I checked in quite late and only just made last orders in the restaurant (by a few minutes) but no one tried to hurry me up...
