"Such a lovely guest house, the interiors were absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring classic period furniture. The bed was very cosy. The bathroom was perfect. The shower was spacious with excellent water pressure. Tasty cooked breakfast. Location was great, about a 20 min walk in to York City Centre. Highly recommend."

"Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained ."

Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. No window. Only one small skylight"

"The room was clean and spacious with a king-sized bed and a beautiful walk-in shower. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was just a short walk to the York Minster and the city walls. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York."

"As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. The place is quaint, not modern, but very clean. Breakfast was great, as much as we wanted. The location was close to the old town, which is where we wanted to be. We would stay here again!"

"Ideally situated for town centre, upon arrival got shown all facilities/room, lovely breakfast staff very polite/helpful, room had everything you needed and quiet Cameron went above and beyond when we arrived explained that we had car issues and that we would sort it next day ( he said let him know if anything could do), after contacting RAC next day we had to wait approx 5.5hrs, Cameron told us we could wait in lounge/garden where he kept checking upon us and checking if he could do anything...
