"The Compass by Margaritaville is AMAZING! The property is only 1 uear old! The place is so very clean! All the staff is amazing! Nicole at front desk, remberered. Me from my short stay in March! She knows ur name, says hi Liz, everytime I passed the front desk. Nicole is so friendly and helpful! The rooftop bar and poolside bar and grill are amazing as well! The Compass is right on the ocean at Flagler Beach! U don't need a car. I rented one the first time i stayed there. I never used it!...

"I will post pictures. The outdoor area was very nice and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The inside was another matter. Peeling paint, rusty chairs and doorknobs, quick cheap fixes to electrical outlets and a bathtub that was so old that no matter how much it was scrubbed, the dirt would never come out. I doubt these fixes are up to code. One elevator was horrible...vinyl flooring that was coming up, puddles, dirty walls etc.
