On the pristine waters of Lake Erie, you will find this stunning lakefront escape and pure perfection!! Located away from bustling Lake Erie, the Casa del Lago provides serenity on the shores of one of Ontarios Great lakes... Lake Erie. This contemporary home with its coastal décor, is one of Leamington's most premiere private beachfront home with very spacious living area over two floors, Accommodates 8, has 3 Bedrooms, 2 full Bathrooms and a HOT TUB.

The modern main level is open concept and has a well appointed kitchen, a stunning living room equipped with a gas fireplace and flat screen smart tv. Additionally, there is a gorgeous Deck/Patio with breathtaking views of the lake and beautiful sunsets. There are 2 main floor bedrooms. One features a king bed, while the other has a double bed and a single bunkbed.  On the lower level of the house is another family room, a flat screen TV, a full bathroom & a third bedroom with a queen sized bed and a laundry room. Our house can comfortably sleep a maximum of 8 people. We can not comfortably accommodate more than 8 - as our goal is quality over quantity, and we want all our guests to have a wonderful experience.
 
Casa del Lago was completely remodelled in 2021 and is now one of the area's Most Premier lakefront/beach house getaway. The back patio, new in 2021, includes some extras, like a covered natural gas BBQ area, a covered lounging area, a tall table with umbrella for everyone's enjoyment.  Our large outside deck is fitted with a glorious 6-person jacuzzi tub for your enjoyment. The deck also provides you access to your own private beach! The lake is safe to swim in, and the outdoor shower with hot water makes it convenient to rinse off coming out of the water. The grill area is equipped with everything you need for the tastiest BBQ lunch or dinner. Perhaps you would like to enjoy a late brunch on the deck overlooking the water? Ask us how we can set up a private chef experience on the water. Better yet, you can rent a Kayak or Canoe, take a ride down the lake and then dock it right in front of the house. Maybe, you don't want to do anything besides lay on the beach, enjoy the lake breeze, take in the summer sun and have a well deserved nap. We can accomodate any experience under the sun.

**Note: If your stay coincides with a Wednesday, you may see our hot tub maintenance person testing the tub. They come weekly, every Wednesday, to ensure chemical levels are correct & the hot tub is functioning properly. Thanks in advance for your understanding!**
House Rules:
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS PERMITTED, NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED
Jacuzzi: You MUST place & secure the cover on the hot tub when not in use. No Glass to be used in or around Hot Tub.

Rental Agreement - Guest must sign rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed.

Security Deposit - A $350 offline Security deposit hold will be required and a link will be sent to you.

The online check-in form must be completed in order for your door code to generate into your guest portal

Smoking/Vaping: Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided. Additional cleaning fees maybe charged in the event cigarette butts are found outside of the ashtrays.

Shoes: We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors. Also we ask that feet are wiped off before entering the hot tub and house.

Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects.

Unannounced guests: Prices are quoted in accordance with occupancy of the rooms. We ask that there are no unregistered guests past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted-All guest must be registered. 

Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit to towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost. 

NOISE- GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBORS. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM

Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors. 

Recycle - Please separate plastics and cardboard and place in the correct bin. Do not place in plastic bags. Failure to separate will result in a $75.00 sorting fee.

Parking: Please Park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Appliances & kitchenware: Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests; we kindly ask that you load and start dishwasher before you leave.Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink. 

Furniture & décor: Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have worked so hard to create. 

Pets: Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.  

Towels: Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom. 

Water & septic: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.

Liability: The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others who are invited to use the premise.

My family and I had a lovely beach getaway at the Lakehouse! The easy access and closeness to the beach was especially appreciated with having a toddler among us. The beach views, waves and sunsets from the deck were priceless! The physical location of the property was another perk. We were minutes away from a fruit and vegetable market, ice-cream shop, grocery stores and recreational activities for our toddler (splash pad, playground and shaded tree park). Check-in went smoothly and as expected. When contacting the hosts, they were quick to respond and attentive to our needs. The kitchen facility was spacious and adequately equipped.

Comfortable, clean, as advertised

Very comfortable, clean, as advertised and two minute drive to Point Pelee NP, which was main purpose of the our visit. Kitchen sufficiently stocked, toiletries and towels for bath and beach included. Hot tub was clean, well maintained and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the deck. Would definitely return. Perfect for our group of mature adults. The property is very close to the main road and we could hear early morning cars driving to the park from upstairs bedrooms. All properties along this beach strip are close together if privacy is an issue but we embraced it as part of the charm in this southern most part of Ontario.

A Struggle to Enjoy

The back of the house with the deck, hot tub, and wonderful private beach area was the best part of this house. It was truly an incredibly fun experience when we were back there. The wifi also worked really well throughout the house and in the back of the house. However, there were some issues in the house. There were absolutely no utensils (forks & spoons) in the house. No cleaning supplies were found, such as wipes to clean spills, another roll of paper towels, or even extra hand towels. Which was an issue as when we first walked into the kitchen, there was a foul smell wafting up from the countertops. There was clearly an insect issue which I understand is a part of houses near water however the issue is that there was no cleaning or spraying done for these insects. There were many dead insects in the lights above the kitchen countertop, there were ants on countertops and all over the kitchen area, and there were spiders everywhere with webs left in places like under the side table. We also received a noise complaint from the owners despite not being loud in any way and none of our neighbors being outside so I am unsure where the complaint came from. It is quite frankly difficult to even hear those with you when you are outside due to the sound of the waves so we are unsure how a complaint was filed against us. In the basement, there is another tv but you are unable to use it as things like Netflix are pin protected and inaccessible.

Amazing Place!

Everything about the experience and the property was excellent. No complaints. Exactly as advertised and close enough to town for convenience but far enough out to feel comfortably away from the city. Close neighbors but that did not bother us a bit. Pleasant Surprise!!

Booking vacation property without actually seeing it in person can be a bit risky. Sometimes what you see is not what you get. This was a pleasant surprise. Modern decor, clean, comfortable and accessible to all amenities, parks, beach, shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful Location, Great Property

Everything was perfect, only downside is there are no curtains in kitchen or living room so thousands of Mosquitos are on the windows attracted to the light couldn't enjoy hottub because of the bugs and hundreds were in the house , Curtains would help and maybe some bug Zappers, Hottub also had lots of dirt and sand and bugs, there is no privacy from the neighbors while on the patio ,some privacy would be wonderful, Everything we needed inside the house was provided, Beds were very comfortable and house was clean with exception of some cobwebs , would definitely stay again

Christmas at the beach!

We had a fantastic time. I only reached out to the owners a couple of times and both times were easy peasy. Such a beautiful beach house it’s like no where else in Ontario. Okay The interior was beautiful I fell In love with the night stands. The primary bed was so comfortable my husband is now on the hunt for a new bed now. Oh and Did I mention we are a family of 6! We were very comfortable. 10/10

A Little Piece of Heaven

Like many I decided to cancel my trip to the Dominican but I knew I still needed a little getaway. I was seeking a waterfront property oh, a hot tub and a fireplace. That's exactly what I got. So close to the water it felt like I was in the houseboat sometimes. The sound was loud and beautiful and soothing. The weather was intense so I had a power outage for about 5 hours. The property management team was phenomenal helping me figure out how to get the pilot light working again on the fireplace. Super grateful for you all and I will be booking again!
