The Miner's Getaway in Lead, SD

Summary:

This unique place has a style all its own. This house offers a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the surrounding areas. There is much to see and do in this historic area and we offer a quiet, clean, and rustic environment to experience all of this in.



Also, a reminder, Lead is a beautiful mountain town and parking is very limited. This little house is located a stone's throw away from Lead main street and we have a driveway for the home. We can accommodate 1 vehicle in the spot.



The Space:

There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The house offers a full kitchen, and bathroom.



Guest Access:

We have space for 1 vehicle in the driveway for the house. We do not have room for trailers. If you have a trailer, you must call the city of Lead to work out a parking spot for it. Please use the bigger spot to the right in the driveway. The house is the back one. You have the whole house to yourself.



The Neighborhood:

We are located within walking distance of all of Leads downtown businesses. A very short drive to the ski resorts. Also we are 3 miles away from Deadwood.



Getting Around:

We have a driveway in front of the house. We provide space for 1 vehicle in the driveway. We are right up the street, and within close walking distance to a 24 hr common cents gas station on Main Street. Further down the street are a few businesses, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. There is parking on Main Street for the businesses as well. We are 3 miles away from Deadwood as well.



Other Things to Note:

Lead is a mountain town with lots of hills. During the winter months we can get slippery conditions. We recommend driving a vehicle that can handle slippery conditions in Lead. The entry to the driveway is up a hill.
