"This is a conveniently located boutique hotel in North Berkeley, not far from Central Berkeley and UCB campus. I stayed here to see a show at the Greek Theatre and it worked out well, it’s a 15-20 minute walk (much easier on the way back as it is more downhill). The room was well appointed with the usual amenities (shampoo, soap, hair dryer) and a few nice touches (a toothbrush/toothpaste kit if you happened to forget yours, a stool in the shower). No parking onsite. I parked in the next door...

"Showerhead was way to low (at 5 feet ), the Henry restaurant ran out of food and told us some items were out of season and they took too long to serve Overall ok but room prices were too high as well"

"Front desk staff gave wrong info about the guestroom phone when I called a few days before arrival. He said that the guestroom phone can be used to make local calls and perhaps long-distance calls. However, when I checked in, I found that the guestroom phone is not calling the front desk only and the phone/clock did NOT work. There was also NO front desk staff before 7 am. So I had to call them later for them to email me the receipt because I checked out at about 6 am. Breakfast was minimal...

"The room was updated and very clean. Housekeeping was amazing as I did not have to ask for clean towels, they were readily available when I came back to my room for the evening. The location was perfect for the outings that I had planned as there were several restaurants within walking distance. The price was very reasonable as well."

We gebruikten het hotel als uitvalsbasis om San Francisco te bezoeken, overigens is Oakland zelf ook je bezoek meer dan waard.
