Newly furnished beautiful cabin with an access to Lake Hartwell

Attention: The water at the dock is very low right now and it might dry out around our dock soon. Kayaking is possible. No fishing or swimming right off the dock. Deep water access for all water activities is available at public boat ramp within two minutes.

Our home is a very nice and cozy A-style log cabin on Lake Hartwell’s lakefront property, in Gumlog, GA.

If you’re looking to escape the concrete jungles and urban grind of metro / city living, for a nice break, rest, and relaxation; this is an ideal choice.

The house is in an idyllic, and quiet setting on beautiful Lake Hartwell, on the Georgia side.
You will be in a pristine country setting, very close to the foothills (beginnings) of the Appalachian Mountains; yet do not have to give up on benefits of a modern home.

Our cabin is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities: Central air (HVAC); kitchen appliances, smart TVs, and wifi internet.
Floor plan is very open, with living area having an all-wood cathedral ceiling for a beautiful, classy look and feel.

Loft has a master (king size) bed, and a landing / lounge area with 65” smart TV, a chaise lounge, and a pull-out sofa. (Sleeps 2)
Living area (downstairs) has 2 bedrooms.
One of them is kid friendly; with 1 bunk (i.e. 2 twin size) bed and another separate twin bed. (Sleeps 3)
The other downstairs bedroom has a luxury queen size bed.
A covered deck with a grill completes the cabin.

The property is off the main road in very quiet surroundings in over an acre of land.
A dock on the lake is part of the property and is ideal for launching kayaks and canoes off it.
The water level at the dock varies depending on the month of the year. When the lake is at full pool; most boats can also be moored at the dock.

(Boat Ramp is around the corner on the main road; 0.4 miles away.)
We provide floats, life jackets, etc.; you can have a fun time just lounging / hanging out at the dock. + 2 kayaks, lake pad, 1 kid kayak

We are eager to host you and yours; looking forward to providing a five-star experience during your stay.

Great house on the lake

The house was perfect, had all the amenities for a comfortable stay! Near a boat ramp so we could put in at and the dock was perfect for our boat! We will be definitely staying again! Thank you!!!

Lovely cabin

Overall a great cabin on the lake. The cabin was clean and what was as expected from the pictures. The owners had lots of extras around like toiletries and condiments. The area is very peaceful and pretty. Using their kayaks was one of our favorite activities, and the kids really enjoyed exploring the area. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our time. It was a perfect home and space. The water was so low we couldn’t use the lake, but luckily we were visiting family on a different part of the lake so it worked out. I also didn’t realize there is another house very close beside this one but also luckily no one was there so we had the quiet woods to ourselves and it was heaven.

North GA Wedding Trip

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with lots of extra amenities from fans in all the rooms to toys for kids. The beds were very comfortable and made for a relaxing visit. We were only there for the weekend for a family wedding but wished we could have stayed longer. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful and Relaxing with fun at your fingertips

My family had a blast! This home offered wonderful outdoor space with the large covered porch, floating dock, and wooded surroundings. The house was open and very family-friendly, with many little "extras"! My grandchildren had to be convinced to leave to do any exploring of the surrounding areas; they were perfectly content to spend the days running up and down the river bluff, playing on the float pad, fishing, and kayaking. Location is perfect if you are looking for a little solitude and the sounds of nature. Located at the back of a cove with little to no boat traffic; dock, float, and kayaks to enjoy the water so no boat required; few, yet friendly neighbors; many local eateries off the beaten path that were great; and within 30 minutes of many nature-made attractions. We will definitely be keeping this property in our "favorites". Thank you so much Edita for a wonderful 1st experience booking a vacation home.

Romantic Getaway

The cabin is absolutely beautiful from the decor, the layout and placement within the woods me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The cabin is the most well stocked weve ever had the pleasure of renting, from the spices, cook ware, and even condiments and sodas in frig it was a delight! The master bedroom loft was so cozy and the bed and pillows soft as a cloud. The property owner was so helpful and accomodating. We will definitely be returning annually for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

Beautiful with a peaceful view

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is equipped with everything you may need while you are here. The house is clean and so cozy. The location is great, not too far from local shops, restaurants, state parks and other fun activities but far enough to still find yourself surrounded by peaceful beautiful nature. Perfect summer spot

We had a wonderful time at this lovely lake house. Everything was so convenient — the kitchen had just what we needed to prepare meals, the bedrooms were gorgeous and comfy, the lake was easy to access, all the toys for the kids was the cherry on top.

Family Vacation

Our family of five felt so at home in this cabin. The property owner has stocked the house very well. Location is very peaceful and quiet, neighbors were respectful and friendly. The dock was excellent for fishing, but if you are coming to swim, you will definitely want to go just around the corner to the boat ramp or beach area, because there is no ladder or swimming access from the dock or bank. Also, there is a very steep incline down at the dock, so just be aware for anyone with elderly family members or very small children. Other than that, the place is a gem! We will definitely be returning next year!

A lovely cabin, with a beautiful lake and dock. Enjoyed taking the kayaks out and enjoying the peaceful and beautiful lake. Cabin was well stocked and had everything you could possibly need. Had a great stay and wish it was a longer stay as it was even better than we were expecting.
