"Our host was exceptionally responsive and helpful, and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Parksville and area. Close to Rathtrevor beach and trails. Resort has a wonderful pool and hot tub as well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you again "

"What a gem this is! Clean and comfortable is just the beginning. From a well appointed kitchen to thoughtful little things like spare reading glasses, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in hosting. And the cottage is just darn cute!! The outdoor spaces really made it, from the patio set that was perfect for our morning coffee to the private covered firepit with cosy chairs and blankets where we enjoyed a rain storm. "The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous.
