"I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. "Unfortunately, the room was very unsatisfactory for the price. The carpet smelled of dog, the curtains had stains, the blinds were broken, the bed frame itself was broken on one corner, there were tons of flies, etc. I am pretty upset as the pictures show the room in a MUCH improved state and that is what I expected. It was embarrassing, I booked the "honeymoon suite" and it legitimately felt like a dingy room you take a hooker to. The oddly positioned couches did not help with this sense...

"If you are looking for a location close to the Heavenly gondola with onsite parking then this is it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have everything you need and are comfortable. Parking was great and I was aloud to leave my car for the day after checking out to get some more run in on the mountain. I would definitely stay here the next time I’m looking to ski Heavenly Mountain. "

"Parking was very easy, staff was kind and professional at check in. We were offered a welcome drink which was nice. We stayed two nights, the first night our neighbor was very noisy but the building got quiet after about 11:00pm. We were upstairs and could feel in the floor if folks were walking by, at one point someone ran by and shook the whole room. Would probably ask for a ground level room next time. Access to heavenly was great. A very easy walk, maybe a half mile to 3/4 mile to the shops...
