"Cute little cottages located on the beach. There are 5 or 6 of the older ones and 4 of the newer builds that are on the beach. They have around 20 that are within 100 feet from the beach. They have an indoor heated pool. Located 10 minutes from the main shopping area. Located 10 minutes from the Ferry to Macinac Island. The staff were very nice and accommodating. "Best Western is nothing if not consistent. Room, bed, pillows, towels, etc. were standard Best Western fare (which is why I prefer Best Western when I travel). The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was right on the lake and I was able to walk on the beach for some much needed exercise after my long drive. "The staff were wonderful and worked with us to make things right. Beautiful beach ! Property is a little worn, old carpet. They were also paving main road so a little difficult to access at times. Waterpark needs a good cleaning, and some areas not working."
