"Check in was really slow, I wasn't told about the building or where my room is. I was given the wrong key card, so I had to wait another half an hour for the error to be corrected. I wasn't given access to the facilities/leasure areas as the property description advertised. There was no guide of how to use the key card or an fire escape map in my room. Over all I am disapionted. "

"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "Helpful and friendly welcome from the staff. It is a great budget-friendly place to get your head down for the night. It is very central but was tucked away enough to feel safe. Be aware that it can be quite cold. There was some litter left on the floor in my room when I arrived. Bathroom was lovely and clean, however. "Clean tidy room but not worth the money"

"Super Staff, friendly, helpful and were interested in why we were staying. Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged! Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed! We had a lovely time...

"Friendly and helpful staff and good location with easy access to the city centre and train station. The parking option worked well. I had a small room that was actually a good size (typical cheap London size). It was tired and scruffy and the noise from the adjoining room and outside was a distraction. "

"Breakfast was ok but poor quality ingredients. We had a terrible dining experience. Starter ok - We waited one hour for our mains. My salmon served on a bed of rice was so dried out it was inedible. Looked like it had been left under the heat lamp for ages. Crispy and very dry. You could lift the whole dish up in one go - horrible.
