Water front Lake Whitney cottage with great views and Water access!

This cozy lake cottage is the perfect get away! Just steps away from the water with a rock beach where you can go for a swim or fish. Gorgeous sunset views from the back yard. The cottage includes a separate bedroom that has one king size bed and one queen size bed. There is also a daybed with two twin beds in the living room. The cottage sleeps a total of 6 people max. The living room has a large sofa, recliner, as well as the daybed and a 50 inch flat screen smart TV connected to the Internet We provide free LG channels and you can stream any apps you have with your password. There is also a 32 inch smart tv with DVD player and plenty of movies in the bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, you just bring food and refreshments. There is a refrigerator, electric cook top and oven, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and blender. It has a breakfast bar that seats 4 and a dining room that seats 4. The bathroom includes a single sink and a stand up shower. Paper towels, Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and dish washing soap provided. We also provide all linens, pillows, bath towels and beach towels for your convenience. Overlooking the oversized back yard there is a fire pit, table and chairs and a grill. Plenty of extra seating on the covered back deck as well. There is no fence in the backyard, just open views to the lake and sunsets. Great views, short walk to the lake, and plenty of room to relax make this a great place to escape from it all!
We are 10 minutes from downtown Whitney with local shops and dining. Our location is less than a 90 minute drive from DFW area, under an hour from Waco and no more than two hours from Austin. There is plenty to do in our area, including the Red Caboose Winery in Meridian, the Valley Mills Winery with beautiful Hill Country views. We are only 45 minutes from Magnolia Market in Waco. Below are links where you can find "things to do" and "places that rent boats" on Lake Whitney. I would call and reserve your boat before your dates to make sure they have one available.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Great little "cabin". Easy access to the private swim cove. Beautiful backyard and georgous view of the lake. Very clean and spacious. Internet was spotty, but understandably so since it was stormy. The drive into the neighborhood is kinda sketchy (very rough bumpy roads even in my big truck and trailers/abandoned looking cabins all over). BUT, the cul-de-sac that the property is actually on has much safer vibe. Once you're inside it's very peaceful and beautiful. I'd stay there again. Just wasn't expecting the "rough" drive in.

This place is a diamond in the rough! Well built home with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The neighborhood has a strange layout with a lot of potholes, so closely monitor the GPS to guide you.

The cottage was clean and inviting. The fishing decor was fun. Cooking was easy because the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The back porch and yard with view of the lake was lovely, just as I hoped it would be.

The home was very clean and spacious. The pictures don’t do it justice with how roomy it really is inside. The furnishings were very comfortable, both inside and outside. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with a view of the lake, and from the tree swing, The porch furniture was comfy, as well. Joe was very friendly when we met him in person. We highly recommend this lovely lake cottage if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Cosy Cabin

This little cabin was clean. It had everything we needed. The only problem was finding our way in and out. The is a restaurant call Serenity Cafe. The catfish is wonderful. The pieces are large the frys are hand cut. So go check out this sweet hinden gem.

Ute little house

It was very apparent that a lot of love and thoughtfulness went into the appearance and decorating of this home. There were so many cute little touches that made it feel warm and cared about. We were only there for a few nights and really didn’t cook a lot so I can’t really say how well stocked the kitchen was, but it appeared to be very well stocked. And clean, clean clean this place was spotless and that is important to us. The only downsides that we have is the Internet connection was very poor. When we finally contacted the property managers, they said it was due to the storm that was there. There was a very large storm so we Went with that. But the next day when it was absolutely beautiful and sunny it still wasn’t good we could only get my phone connected not my Husband‘s or either of our iPads. And the television streaming was also quite poor. I would recommend that you put window coverings on the kitchen, windows and door. I didn’t like sitting in the evening without any privacy, even though that side of the house was remote to most everybody. The beds were comfortable and I loved sitting in your recliner chair. Thank you.

Restful retreat

Property was just what we were looking for. A nice space for just the 2 of us to rest and relax. Great outdoor seating areas with nice views.The small house was clean and nicely decorated.We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place!

This is a beautiful, peaceful, quiet little cottage that has a wonderful view of the lake. The backyard is lovely with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. Cottage is clean, spacious enough for a few people.
