"I understand that the hotel is remodeling but portable air conditioners in rooms aren't great. The hallways and common areas were very warm. Carpets were dirty in the hall and in the room.....VERY sticky spot in front of the mini fridge. "The Wingate was a fine hotel for me. The room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was a bit limited, but there was hot food that was tasty. What I was most grateful for was that because we were there for two consecutive nights, we were placed on the top floor without families with small kids on either side of us. We had restful evenings both nights, even with the hotel full of young adults and small children."
